I totally agree, I was also donating to UNITED24 every other month or so but it's lappsed over the last 5-6 months. Maybe it's time to restart supporting Ukraine.

@saturnFIV3 right!

The saying "the enemy of my enemy is my friend" doesn't apply to the Middle East. Iran which is Shai powerhouse and supports other Shai groups and peoples such as Iraq, Syria, Yeman (in parts) and the people of Gaza. But then Hamas is a radical Sunni terror group, like ISIS, like Al Qaeda. So Iran is not showing loyalty to the Shai population of Gaza to allow them to be ruled by Hamas. Saddam was a Sunni leader in Iraq which is why (or one reason) Iran was at war with them in the 80's. Russia and Israel just complicate the story further but there is no love amongst any of them.

no colour HD drone footage then :D

@williamtell6750 is that what the 500,000 dead Russian soldiers who were "happily" living their lives before the war started??
1
I think what Liam Fox is saying is it's not a free country, the EU is not free. They are democracies and democracies are great, but they aren't cheap. The alternative is living in a Russian, Iranian, Afghanistan or North Korean regime.
1
I think it's safe to say your bigoted views represent the few.

Also, the intro is pretty balanced, they also include Trump's soundbite. The difference is Harris talks about improving the world. Donald Trump just whines like a little boy, he can only talk about himself. Is that leadership?
1
I think that was before Russia peppered the whole of the eastern border with mines themselves. I've been to Cambodia and Iraq where there are minefields everywhere, I understand the dangers and consequences they cause, but in this case to prevent invasion and repeats of Bucha atrocities they are warranted. It is possible to make mines where the explosive component breaks down though dispersion of gas making them inert, this type of explosives is used in oil and gas exploration

@junkscience6397 so is Luxemburg but I don't see them ever needing them

I'm disgusted how the Speaker and congressmen have to run their agendas past Trump first. We see Trump in clips, he doesn't come across as being very smart, so is it actually him calling the shots or someone else, another actor hiding in the shadows, Bannon? In the White House he was considered a bit slow, but he is clearly a gangster, a manipulator and a blackmailer in the way he's molded the GOP and the courts. How?

Some might say....

India is probably peeved with the situation in Ukraine, while the war runs on India economically benefits from cheap oil. Now that oil depots in Russia burn that cheap oil is drying up.
1
That exchange on the UN chief attending Brics does not spark confidence in the UN... It's almost like the weakness of the UN is directly bolstering Comrad Putin.

to follow on Rolland's piece, it feels like some spinless EU members want to keep Ukraine in the fight but only just, never to have an advantage over Russia, they are given what they need after the critical points. And the reason why is to not anger Russia. Well if the Ukraine had their NATO main battle tanks, F16s, Patriots and HIMARS 12 months ago then there would be no live Russian presence in Ukraine, no need for cluster bombs, the dam would be intact and the ecocide averted, the nuclear power station wouldn't be at risk of explosion, the torture and massacres of innocent people would have been averted and the world would be a better place. I'm no Trump fan but maybe he actually had a point on the NATO country contributions.
1
regrettably Europe won't react until Ukraine is left defeated, the politicians head will stay in the sand in the hope US position will change. Russia know this, hence the saber rattling.
1
Francis is on the mark once again, Germany is holding back this war, are they hoping Russia will turn the gas back on again so they can carry on making washing machines, power tools and cars. Grow a f-ing spine Germany!!
1
more of the same incompetence and lack of will to commit to an idea. I'm not a Trump fan at all but I guess the Americans needed someone who made bold decisions over someone who made no decisions (Biden). The only problem is the man who is making decisions is self-serving and a fascist. (By that he's gutting and breaking down the government and outing those who keep checks in power, by dumbing down their own capabilities they'll never lose power. Think Cambodia, N Korea, Russia, China. That's the model Project 2025 is mimicking).
1
Francis is bang on, again. It is so frustrating society can't pick up on the idea the longer the war goes on the worse it will be for Europe. Dutch and German leadership should ashamed for their ignorance.
1
yeah, I know a farmer who is doing exactly the same thing - he uses chickens. Russians love chickens.
1
I fear the US will only lift restrictions on long range weapons AFTER they've let Ukraine lose the war. WAKE UP BIDEN!!

I'd say well hit Dom :)

It was great to hear from John "Jonah Goldberg and his views today, but it brings up a question I had last week. What is Trump really like? Is he a featherhead that wants to inject bleach into people or is he a mafia-style king pin? He can't be both. Or is he being steered by someone else we do/don't know about (Bannon)?
1
he'll be 65 years old, he's a smoker, a drinker and lives a poor lifestyle. Maybe if he gets on his bike he'll be fit enough to stand (up)
1
Boycott Turkey, India, China and any other country that wants Western/NATO money and security and leave them out in the cold. The BRIC(T) group don't abide to the same rules or morals as we do. This will always leave us at a disadvantage. The gap will narrow and our next generation will live in a dark world.

ahhh Ruzzian trolls have made their way to another channel, shouldn't this comrade NEO555 be scooping up his pals in Ukraine?

The pod has a variety of views as well as fact finding, interviews and everything. Podcast of the year mate, podcast of the year

Vennell's tears, sorry she had to fess up. I can't think of anyone who would give her a shred of sympathy. Jail is the only place she would be able to hide.

war crime? another example of Israel's "right" to defend itself?? anyone else had enough of Benjamin Netanyahu's dramatic methods to stay out of jail for corruption?

If Russia can accept drones from Iran, artillery and missiles from North Korea and "non-military equipment" from China when why the hell can't Ukraine accept arms from their allies. It's not Ukraine's fault they have friends with better kit. However Roland does give an account that suggests America is micro-managing the war, is that the US department (pentagon?) shackling Ukraine and preventing their victory?
1
ah yes as an owner of two v-dub I understand they are closing them because they are too focussed on ICE cars and are not set up for electric car. If they carry that forward they'll end up like Kodak.
1
to sum up it's nothing to do with the war Comrad

So Ukrainian strikes on oil processing and storage has put Putin in a position he needs electricity this winter. How ironic.
1
thank Mike Johnson for that, the man is a traitor to democracy

I'm in NZ, regarding AUKAS joining. NZ has recently identified several MPs, politicians, journalist and university lecturers who's communications and electronic networks have been infiltrated by China. Like with any verbal conflict with China we are quick to back down. We sell a lot of milk and milk powder to China, it makes up 30% of our GDP and milk always comes first. They have stolen (ironically) our patented Gold Kiwifruit, swamped our housing market, had illegal chinese police operatives intervene when protests against Chinese politicians have visited. Thankfully we steered away from Huawei for our 5G, thanks to the five eyes network. Bottom line NZ has to pull it's socks up if they want to be part of AUKAS.
1
Why is the war still going on? My answer is Trump instructed Mike Johnson to stop the funding of weapons, artillery! when Russia was on the brink of collapse. They waited 8-9 months for that aid which would have stopped Russia in their tracks? Has everyone forgotten?
1
Maybe Europe should club together for two years and use that time to help democrates to oust the GOP from the Senate and Congress in the mid-term elections?
1
Would have been even better if Modi fell off his seat laughing too

Ukraine and Europe's broken promise to supply artillery shells. I generally keep religious comments to myself but wasn't there a story in a holy book about a party where the guests had to bring wine and pour it into a vat for communal consumption. However when it came to drinking it everyone was brought water to drink. Because each guest assumed the others would bring wine they brought water with the thought a little dilution won't be an issue. European states have relied on their neighbours to carry them on the artillery shell front and they have nothing to show for it. Once Ukraine is taken, the Ukrainians will be turned against us. This is Putin's way. It's dire. They should be pressed weekly on this, not every quarter.

it feels like good bureaucrats make bad leaders
