He should have bought the Family Truckster. " You think you hate it now but wait til you drive it".

Not.

@andrewallen9993 Always wanted a 2 door Jag with manual. Saw one in England. Wanted dark red. For a while MB was making biodegradable wire. Those are disasters. I think they quit doing that. I have a GM Saab that has miserable wire. No chasis ground, too small a wire diameter. It probably barely worked when new. Add rust and you never know what will work on a given day. 18 wires ran to a bolt on the firewall which was a ball of rust. Cleaned that up and it helped. My TR 6 had copper wire connected to aluminium fittings. Always corrosion shorts. Cut out the clips and soldered the wire to the fittings. Solved that problem. Oil under it, oil in it. Hoovies Garage says those diesels always leak. The Yanmar in my boat was clean.

My grandmother had like a 61 Lincoln with roll down rear window. We could about get onto the trunk lid on the freeway. Never seemed very safe.

Corvairs actually sold very well and were made through the 60s. The rear suspension was changed after 2 years. It was a common type on many cars. I think Nader criticized small cars as unsafe in crashes thus leading to the still current fetish for big gas hogs. You missed the opportunity to show Corvair vans and pickups and station wagons and all the models. My dad drove Corvairs as company cars for many years as did his employees.

And before Taylor Swift gave prestigeous college commencement speeches about her genius. Oh my God, this country is so screwed.
3
You missed Mr. T and the A Team.
3
Knew a guy who bought the Chrysler van with every option. Nothing worked right. Don't know what he did with it.
3
Hey I live in Versailes. You pronounced it exactly right!
3
Most people.
3
As the resale is poor there is a used market for some Cads. Its like taking over moms town car to drive to school til it dies.
3
@JasonFlorida I hear most high priced vehicles fall into that category especially German and Italian cars.
3
Like how bout today?
3
Its an inverse TARDIS. Strickly Timelord stuff.
2
Patoo in the trunk.
2
The homeless will inhabit them for years to come.
2
@fazole They were fleet cars along with the Plymouths.
2
Ditto US Government. The end is nigh.
2
@emilyadams3228 As long as a young Pamela Anderson comes with it.
2
Well done Ed.
2
It depends on if you buy the Turbo Ego Boost model.
2
Still waiting for the Avanti Ed. Fastest car in the US.
2
Studebaker and Packard should have joined AMC.
2
I have a 70 Eldorado. Its fast and handles OK.
2
How could they do the styling on the T Bird and Continental and come up with this turd?
2
Dodge. The name says quality-Al Bundy.
2
I see lots of Japanese minivans.
2
I have a 70 Eldorado. Its fast and a tank. The gas mileage is no worse than these modern trucks.
2
But they think like 80 year olds with money. The people on social security buy Suburbans.
2
Please learn how to pronounce Cimaron. You are not even close. And I am rather tolerant of these things.
2
Hoovie is a clown show. You watch it for laughs. I personally don't like the guy but hes funny. I believe his 49 Cadillac restomod is his best view getter. He has an unfortunate fetish with Mercedes which can be boring. Cold War Motors show how people without money collect cars.
2
@antjeeismann4684 I had a GT 6. A 74 Caprice rolled right over that thing with me inside.
2
Does'nt look like an Avanti.
2
@MaximilianvonPinneberg Amstel light.
2
See Segway.
2
They do not want to build low volume cars, there is no money in it. How many times has Roll Royce been in bankruptcy? How about Jaguar, Aston Martin? Did'nt Ferrari get a bailout?
2
The old V 16s were top of the mark. I think I like them better than the Duesenbergs.
2
It was all of GM. They thought cheap gas would go on forever. Times changed, GM did'nt. Their attempts at change were clumsy.
2
@danielulz1640 I'm still a few years away from my final statement.
2
I think Studebaker hung on to the Dictator name until they went out of business in the 60s. Wierd.
2
Bye. You should have bought premium cheap skate.
2
All American auto makers were highly competitive in the late 50s and 60s. They did'nt want to see any sale get away to the competition. Now none of them gives a hoot. Only stock price and compensation packages matter.
2
Yeah, all that rust is making the roads impassable. May need a blade on front to get through the Dodge detrious.
2
They get bonuses based on cost saving. 1. Get Chevy truck. 2 Spray paint Cadillac on it. 3. Raise price by $30,000. All done.
2
@welleffitthen All I remember was it was extremely expensive. Like lower level Mercedes.
2
I seem to recall they were fakes.
2
But Dutch farts are notoriously powerful.
2
We never could.
2
You can say penis on YT, just not f you or f off. Important safety tip.
2
@Doshiba Everyone likes a good hummer.
