The very last time Congress declared war, was some 80 odd years ago, in WWII. And THAT means, that Korea, Nam, Grenada, Iraq, and Afghanistan, were all fought WITHOUT a war declaration by Congress.   15. Except that 500 meter target has far less bullet holes in it than the other targets. Marines qual at that range, but they don't have to hit it. Also, they can still score expert without ever touching it.

What's your point? Also, what about the M27? The Marines' new rifle. Is that what you'd call an advanced weapons program, as well? Note: The Marines, from what I read merely seconds ago, are looking to adopt the XM5 for THEIR rifle squads. That weapon is barely 10 years old. -_-

  42. I'm calling PILES of bull$hit, sir. I served in the Army for almost 10 years. I've taken a PLETHORA of PT tests in that time. And I can assure you, with 100% certainty, that I've never, and I mean not even a single solitary time, EVER heard a soldier even HINT at finding out the minimum requirement. What unit were you in, and what was your mos? I'm gonna venture out onto that limb, and guess that you were a pog in BOTH branches. Plus, ALL soldiers would have already been privy to that information well beforehand. The funniest thing about your asinine post, was the fact that you said that it was the 'best look' at the differences. LMAO! What an absolute joke. 😀

  50. ​ @robertoshea9825  That's one of the (huge) misconceptions that the marine corps has about the army. They seem to think the army is all slow, lumbering tanks. They don't understand that tankers are decidedly NOT infantry. Combat arms? Yes. Completely different mos? Absolutely. Introducing: 82nd Airborne Division 10th Mountain Division 101st Airborne (Air Assault) Division 3rd Infantry Division 173rd Airborne Brigade XVIII Airborne Corps 10th SFG 75th Ranger Regiment 1st Cavalry Division ^^^^^ All RFD units. Contrary to popular belief among marines, not in the know, the army has "light infantry" units. I'm not faulting you, specifically. The saying holds true.....You don't know what you don't know. But now you know.
