  21. Anyone of average intelligence can become a doctor in dumbed down Britain. Australia can pick and choose and will select highly educated, properly trained, competent doctors which excludes the vast majority of British medics.

  22.  @twistedbadger24  I don’t like the sense of entitlement in the new breed of economically illiterate, dumbed down doctors who (1) were allowed into medical school with simplified A-levels in soft subjects; (2) had their working week halved from 100 hours to less than 50 hours; (3) had their pay doubled plus additional overtime, night shift allowances and weekend enhancements. Although previous generations of medics could only dream of the generous treatment outlined in (1) (2) and (3) above, those highly educated, dedicated doctors accepted their modest NHS pay and tough conditions without complaint, never compared NHS salaries to their counterparts in other countries and continents, wouldn’t dream of playing Russian roulette with patients lives and never held taxpayers to ransom. Yet naive, NHS worshipping sheeple on sites like this put the current self centred charlatans on a pedestal and laud them as “the best of the best” and “our brightest young minds”.
