Ed Denoy ā Yes, it can get messy quick. But the man who took the kid to the parents just grabbed the kid by the back of his shirt because he started to run away. The kid wasnāt hurt, and once he was held stopped trying to get away. Before you start correcting me how wrong that was, let me share another story. My coworkers son was joint custody after their divorce, and both parents tried to make their son like them better, anything he asked for was a yes. Late? Rude? Ran across the car rooftops at the fathers apartment complex (thousands in damages), nothing was a problem. The kid was spoiled and entitled. Trouble is he turned 18, and got smart with the wrong person, then pissed off a cop, then attacked his parole officer. The kid is 22 now and looks like heās 40, missing teeth, low paying job, and now he is polite and nice, because he found out the hard way some people should not be messed with.
Sometimes people AND KIDS need to be grabbed by the collar and told "NO! That is unacceptable behavior." Before you get all SJW on me, my point is we try as parents to prepare our kids for life in the real world. Teach a kid they canāt be touched, and like my coworkers son who screamed "F' YOU A*HOLE!" At a guy who was in his way. Then he screams how heās been wronged when the guy pummeled his face to a pulp. Yes, we shouldnāt hit kids, but sometimes a slap on the face can help them as much as a college education can.

Ā @MrStv1163Ā ā Thanks for the info, Iāve watched a few news segments since commenting and one said what you did, the other cited a domino effect of personnel issues, crew snowed in in Denver or ? Canāt catch the flight needed to crew their work flight. Might be the same thing? I was thinking if they had any form of proof they were on that flight, other carriers can/have used paper like old school days. As far as systems failures, I kinda do. I work for AT&T, used to work for Delta for 3 years, and Iāve contracted for AA. Redundancy is key, backup systems, alternative data routes, all critical.

@Bo BiceĀ ā Not just Democrat businesses were getting burned. And perhaps you fail to understand how this works. Governors ONLY can call in the national guard, not cities, not mayors, and itās not cheap. This is why governors ask that the president declare an emergency as doing so provides funds. And they werenāt on the criminals side, it was a political minefield, but you know that. And no, Trump didnāt ask, he tried, which is why the pentagon officials wrote that letter. And youāre ignorant of the fact that itās unconstitutional to deploy the US military on US soil, against US citizens. Youāre trying to troll too hard, your mixing lies with misinformation to try and defend a presidents actions which were inexcusable.

Mass shootings have been happening under BOTH parties presidential terms. Trump or any politician point fingers is just posturing. What I would rather hear is HOW we can tighten up gun control purchase and ownership issues without trampling on the second amendment. Or how we could start school programs on how to recognize depression and anger issues in yourself, and what to responsibly do about your own feelings. Every time I hear the NRA protecting the publicās right to own military hardware, or someone blaming someone or something else for mass shootings like this it just makes me ill. At what point do we say ENOUGH TALK, do something. Prayer vigils, flowers, and people giving speeches are sweet AFTER an event such as this. But where was the SUSTAINED push for change in the weeks before this event? My fear is that as this event fades from our memories, so will itās urgency. And just for the record, I am a gun owner, not an NRA supporter, and I am in favor of stricter gun ownership laws. Everyone, including the NRA should be working together on this issue. Including revisions to the second amendment. In the 1700-1940's there was some truth to the thought that an armed populace could protect America from outside invasion. However, given the current advanced state of military technology, that concept has been rendered not just obsolete, but ludicrous.
