The "evictions" are the illegal removal of Palestinian from homes/land where the have lived for decades if not centuries & to which the Israeli govt. will not accept that they own.   21. I am not surprised by this but I was ignorant of the actual situation. Back in the 20th Century I considered moving to the US to be with my then girlfriend, however if I became a student I could NOT use the qualification to work in the US for 5 years after graduation. The only other way was to marry but the spouse has to prove they can 100% support you for at least 3 years ( it was something like $30k a year back then). It is true that for many years the Irish had no problem emigrating to the USA. I worked with a Irishman who had been an illegal immigrant for 4 years in Boston (he choose to leave). Never any problems. Meanwhile in the UK the government won't fix a broken system & is happy to allow people to drown crossing the channel rather than change the rules to keep the racists & xenophobes happy.

  22. Bari acting like a brat. There were nurses here that had to use garbage sacks as PPE as no plastic aprons, gloves, proper masks. My elderly brother with COPD could not leave his house for over 3 months and had to have food parcels delivered as he lives alone.

The US supported Papa Doc & Baby Doc in Haiti for years & caused many of the problems that still exist. The US has dumped rice there that means local farmers can't sell their crop because the US rice was subsidized & sold below cost.
