  13. Still have a ban on evictions in UK. Bailiffs (Sheriffs in Scotland) enforce eviction and only call for minimal police backup if there is violence or a threat of it. This would not happen here because A) we don't have that many police 😉 B) the situation would be de-escalated to render the "show of force" unnecessary. A disgraceful situation cause by people not doing their job(s) properly & with a bit of humanity.

Look what Union Carbide did in Bhopal, India, Shell in Nigeria. Big corporations have proven time and again that they are above the law

In a sane world the airlines would have to repay at least a few billions of the bailout and/or stop them paying shareholder dividends for a year or until the problems are resolved. Capitalism is always praised, so why aren't more pilots and ATC being trained. Before the pandemic budget airline pilots in Europe were complaining about wages on short-haul flight. Some were on making £30k a year.

Any company that is anti-union wants wage-slaves not workers. All the more ironic as both the US & Canada were signatories to the post WW2 restructuring of Germany that enforced unions & worker's positions on the board of directors.

The Taliban is not responsible for 9/11. 9/11 was the fault of the US government and it agencies malfunctioning. Airborne terrorism was well known yet the security at airports was virtually non-existent that is what allowed armed men onto the planes.
