  4. Bess1201 Woah, "educate" myself, lol, I've done enough educating. Yes, but those ballet shoes add up if you're rigorously using them In daily basis. Ballet professional spend hundreds every week to buy new ones. So in itself, you're spending tons of money on what you love...capitalizing the ritual to make yourself feel "complete". Instead of telling me to "educate" myself, you should think outside the box, and think how fucking expensive buying things you love, tend to have some sort of extensive use in the long run.

  18.  @zackwang9314  No, even then those people are uneducated about political science and the system itself. And this is the first time I’ve heard the term “rust belt”, lol. I’m not sure those states are entirely accurate with them having “discontent” with their government. It’s mainly both sides who don’t criticize useless political tools like lobbying and the filibuster.

  31. Erika R Of course you guys have rad cultural influences. Love the people and the cuisine. I think most of Latin America has more negative implications than positive ones, because the level of corruption is insane (which can be attributed to the CIA). I remember watching Anthony Burdain in Brazil, and he had to hide underneath a table because there was a shoot out happening near the restaurant he was at. Besides that, I think City of God is a cool movie. Wouldn’t visit Rio de Janeiro because I’m not into the party lifestyle. I’ve seen the statue of Christ the Redeemer so many times in travel documentaries, and I think it’s also cool. And the thing I love the most about Brazil, is the amazon rainforest. Love all the indigenous tribes that are there, I’ve always been interested in them and have seen a bunch of documentaries on them. But yea, I have love for all of Latin America, for all its dancing, cuisine, and drinking customs.

  32. Erika R I would definitely agree, I guess I’ve become too numb to care about the actual experience, since I’ve seen seen the new 7 Wonders of the World many times over. I probably would, although I don’t like going to tourist attractions, so I’d have to research where’d I wanna go XD Yep, everything has to do with capitalism, so I wouldn’t be surprised if they were not aware/informed. In the US, it’s the native Americans who aren’t too respected; African Americans have too much of the spotlight, and it really sucks.

  33. Erika R I would have to disagree. Even in school, the civil rights was always pushed down our throats, and we didn’t get any insight on the natives. Black History month is screamed throughout the whole month, while Native American Indian heritage month (November) and Asian Pacific American month (May), etc, are severely overlooked. Well, according to history, the minorities are usually forgotten and are replaced by cooperate entities. Still, they’re very resilient towards any abuse they’re given. And there is also the possibility the new generation wants to explore the world and leave their tribes/clans. Either way, you’re right, it’s sad.
