  12. Wow, captured soldiers execution is a war crime. Killing wounded soldiers not captured is not a war crime if they are actively fighting - but if unable to fight then it is a war crime (Additional Protocols of 8 June 1977 to the Geneva Conventions of 12 August 1949, para. 1620). War crimes by Ukrainians are common. There should be international tribunal set up in Asia to deal with war crimes by Kiev regime.

  13. Why not say what is on the map - near Adiivka Russian forces have liberated a village to the north - krasnoporivka. There is nothing beyond that village but fields. Its on the map - so say it!

  14. US should enact Gonzalo Lira law - Gonzalo's death has been confirmed by US state department. The law would prevent military aid of any kind to a country where US reporters were killed. This would prevent Biden from sending any aid to Ukraine using any presidential draw downs.

  18. Turtle tank is the bomb. It effortlessly went through UA lines. Expect more such contraptions. It is actually an assault gun. Ukraine does not have their own intelligent drones, Russia does. You fly over a target and click on it. Then drone locks onto it and attacks.

Just to give you an idea of how strategic it is - it is defended by over 3x as many troops as area of Mariupol was.... It is defended by almost 2x as many troops as KIEV was defended at the beginning of the war.... so not strategic at all ;) just touch more important than your capital ;)

  20. Mechanical storage of energy is not some ancient stuff - we been trying to do so for a while now. Mostly with things such as large mass spinning very fast in a vacuum. Main constraint as usual is cost. If you could lower the cost you will have a killer invention.

  21. Its roughly 2x as many Ukrainian casualties as Russian - at the very minimum - in attack mode for Russians. Realistically for whole war its now somewhere around 3:1 - or even more. This is why Ukraine is running out of people.

  22. So far offensive is going very badly for Ukraine. They are unable to enter and hold anything in security zone except one area. And here they are making slow progress with heavy losses. Chances of penetrating first defense line are now maybe 5%. Like I said before - some gains will be realized. But this does not change its a failure so far.

  25. Same as my prediction from 4th quarter of 2023 - heavy pressure in Spring 2024 for Ukraine to surrender. There is clear prospect of Ukraine having issue with front collapse sometime in the summer 2024 - right before US elections. Will we have Ukraine surrender? Possibly - lets hope for Ukraine gets rid of Zielinski and does surrender - as its their only option.

  37. Refinery is relatively easy to fix. It is not complex. There is no complex machining needed of components. Much ease than say a power plant. A turbine is a lot of work to fix vs some pipes and even a pressure vessel.

Now over 10m people left officially more unofficially. No economy of any kind. Losses in people are much, much higher percent wise than Japan or Vietnam - they are even higher than world record holder Poland. With track record of going down.

  50. Russia did not claim 100s of pieces of equipment. They claimed what you said up to around 20 or so. Also 1000s of troops used, two different front lines and troops from 4 reserve brigades - i.e. 40% of western armed units are already engaging. So this is the start.
