Ukraine is not a democratic state.
3
Mariupol port was taken. A breakout attempt by armored company was foiled. Ukraine holds on to two steel factory complexes only. It is taking huge amounts of time to take the city and these factories. Also significant number of Ukrainians surrendered again.
3
Problem is Russians are moving like 3km-5km in Donbass per day. That is like 1px or less for the map given. In Mariupol its few street blocks per day.
3
Almost 1000 now taken prisoner from AzovStal! Russian offensive in Donbass continues and is doing well!
3
Depends on Russian progres in Donbass. If they have surrounded at least partially Ukrainians then not much. Otherwise they may mobilize.
2
@iMrGhost Parade in Moscow regarding defeat of Nazi in WWII. Also they show off maybe some captured western equipment.
2
meaningless now - when they cannot encircle these cities or do similar.
2
@frosten5746 I am telling you 100%. There will be TWO winners no matter what. Putin will get all or most of what he wants. Ukraine will also be declared a winner b/c "Putin wanted more". Remember that, two winners. No matter what.
2
@VolunieProductionsOfficial But they do so. with tiny forces. Not bad at all.
2
Nah. It's just Russians bleeding Ukrainians out on secondary front. The izium danger has been talked for over a month. Same as taking kherson in like 6 weeks. Ukraine simply cannot take and hold any land Russia does not let it.
2
@LEGOANIMATIONDZ Devil protects Azov - as Azov is his manifestation on Earth.
2
Don't buy into the hype. US revealed that Russia has exactly 76 BTG in Ukraine as of now and that 11 were just added. Also 12 BTG are around Mariupol. So few days ago, only 53 BTG were fighting Ukrainians on all front lines you see on this map. a BTG has at the very most 1000 men. So Russia had... a whopping 53k troops. Add to this Donbass militias and others and this figure is what now, 120k? Maybe a bit more? And then Ukraine claims ... a whopping 20k killed? LOL. BTW, Ukraine lost or will loose at least 4k in Mariupol alone, based on pp captured. Up to 6k. So way more then all admitted UA losses! and we have that from the captured troops and their numbers. Cannot fake that.
2
Nah, just the right hand side of Dniepr and maybe Odessa. No one wants Bandera lands. I do not think Putin is crazy.
2
I would not be shocked. Ukraine lost like 10 to1 in kherson.
2
Map is not very accurate. Fighting is in the city center and many suburbs have TV guys from them broadcasting. Even some reports from TV are already from near the center. I expect at this rate for center to fall within next few days and then a lot of mopping up will happen.
2
Ukraine is going down. Once they surround fully and destroy Donbass forces we can call it a day - i.e. Ukraine lost the war in military sense. It already lost in economic.
2
First rats are leaving sinking ship!
2
I expect a bigger push then in a week. They need to have results by May 9th parade. I hope to see captured western equipment! Also Mariupol should be resolved in about a week - or at least by then they can pull off a lot of forces from there. Russians are grinding Ukraine. Every day, they are loosing massive amounts of equipment. This is why this constant screaming for more. But there is not much more to give. All Eastern / Central Europe can maybe provide 100+ more tanks and 100+ more old APCs. Germany can provide maybe 100 old Leo 1 tanks. US would need to step in and start providing old M1 tanks. US already providing 200 M113 old APCs.
2
They are making progress every day. I do expect by end of May for the battle for Slavinsk to start.
2
Russians are on the move once again. But it still feels that taking all of Donbass is at least a month away unless something special happens - like Ukraine collapses.
2
Why, he approved the withdrawal of troops.
2
Nah, so far Ukraine is still loosing the war. Russians are no longer wanting attrition welfare near Kiev and will just take the east. Heck, they even say war will be over by May.
2
Fun fact, sometime not long ago, last year, we had anniversary of the start of Wolyn massacre. People killed by our "brotherly" nation were never buried, never had a stone over their graves and these that killed them are now hero of Ukraine as per official UA documents. They even have a 30m tall monument near Lviv. With such "bothers" who needs enemies!
2
Where? They did not advance at all in Donbass and one battalion not only refused order to attack but killed of Military Police that came in to arrest officers.
2
@d.olivergutierrez8690 On the other fronts there is less then 25% of the forces. The only front that matters is Donbass. And here Russia is unstoppable. Ukrainian losses are huge. Units refuse to fight and even fire on MPs. Give it a week and multiple cauldrons will be formal - i.e. with actual encircled troops.
2
@mroof523 What for - they have Ukrainians crossing on easy to kill boats daily.
2
@michakazik2268 So you going to ignore 30m monument build by current Ukrainian people to Bandera, 100+ other monument build in recent years, the fact he was made "Hero of Ukraine" 4 years ago, all the tiki torch marches, well over 10,000 Nazi units akin to SS in Ukrainian armed forces.... Nothing in common huh? These people were mascaraed and Ukraine today believes these murderers were heroes. Victims cannot be berried. No, today's Ukraine and her people are continuation of the same principles that lead to Wolyn crime.
2
@stephmod7434 B/c Ukraine is big. They moved over 100km in the last three weeks. But on the map this is tiny. Remember Vietnam? they moved 100km per year.
2
Certainly they leave Ukraine - with Donbass and Crimea and possibly few more regions in tow.
2
What do you mean, Russia took like 5 villages today and are 12km outside of Sloviansk, largest city left under UA control in Donbas!
2
Yeah like they did beat shit out of Russia back in WWII ;)
2
And ... and then what? Ukrainians would pack up and go back across the river?
2
At least partially.
2
They advance every day.
2
To whom?
2
Depends on how you count, Ukraine still has both industrial plants. So 100% Russian control of civilian sites.
2
@jehandesains8674 Ukraine is running out of men and equipment - I did not say they run out. Russia is advancing. They are in no hurry when Ukraine makes mistakes of fighting for every meter like it was their last. In WWI allies won yet front also did not move much. The sources are fake as they have been rather well proven to be fake and anyone whom spends some time looking over their "evidence" quickly figures out they are faking it. It is always amusing for me how people in the west take stuff they see online as gospel and the truth. Be critical of everything and assume its all lies - then you get to the truth.
2
Yeah, I seen that on situation map. Ukraine just cannot counter attack without its face bashed in hard.
2
They have not - they will refurbish these and send them in the next few weeks. Ukraine lost more yesterday when Russians taken some repair warehouse. On video.
2
Not even close. Ukraine is on full defense and even if they get some reinforcements Russia can do the same to match.
2
Even more sad fact, to date he is the very best president Ukraine had!
2
Nah, just few villages for Russia - like every day.
2
Russians are taking advantage of defensive lines in Donbass falling apart & Ukraine on the ropes. Few more hits and whole salient will collapse, taking with it around 17k troops. Only about half of Russian advances have been mentioned in this video.
2
@ДмитрийАлександровичь-т9р The battle has shifted at least 5km or more south. There are at least three Ukrainian brigades there resisting. Lots of troops.
2
They are using their old junk ;( Instead of scrapping it stuff gets blasted in Ukraine. This includes aircraft as well.
2
@meetmehalfway7982 Nah, no one in Russia is worried. Ukraine has 100k now ready to send to the front. I doubt they would make a big deal of a difference. Probably stop Russians for few weeks and that is it. Then move will restart (i.e. most of the 100k would be dead or unable to fight). How many 100k troops like this will Ukraine sacrifice?
2
@The blue Guy This is simple math. There are 100 Russians. There are 200 Ukrainians. Russians are pushing. What are the losses - to keep things "stable" they are 1:2. Otherwise ratio would change and dynamics would change. Ukrainians started with same # of tanks and similar numbers of equipment but lost a lot of it. Ukraine is now loosing the war badly. Their losses cannot be accounted for by replacements. I.e. the ratio is getting more and more in Russian favor. Ukraine started the war with about 300k. They mobilized. They must have now more troops. But so what, their best brigades are no battalions. They cannot counter as they cannot counter with some "people's army" armed with AK47s and NLAWs or Javelins. Losses would be like 10:1.
2
But this war would be not Russians advancing but Fins trying to capture territory they lost after WWII. Russians seem to do well in the defense & Fins have small regular army for surprise attack.
2
@xqxowxzqx7605 Yes, before WWI, and before that part of Sweden.
2
@samfisher5769 They are just desperate - morale in UA troops is so low we can call it "not having any" - they are using supposedly blocking troops now (!!!) This is why the bridge blow up.
