And any decent place should have consumer protection to straight up say things like this is illegal. Not hard to see why, you purchase a product before accepting the contract. The contract is take it or leave it. And then apparently they come back and change it pulling the rug under you.

What you guys are doing here is actually really annoying, because you are factually wrong because you can't be bothered to read what was shown or decided for yourselfves that your narrative would do better if you change the article in your head and pretend that is what's written. "The article doesn't mention realism" is not a subjective argument, it's objectively true. Therefore you basing your argument on the contrary is factually wrong. Credibility does not play into this. Sure it's possible that there is a longer article behind the summary where the journalist goes on some stupid rant about realism, but that's neither here nor there. Also please consider that just because it's a scan of a real woman it doesn't mean it's not edited. It's like saying that photoshopped magazine covers are realistic because the source is an actual photo of a woman. The ironic part of all this is that we are making fun of this journalist for being petty and factually incorrect and you guys come in and do the exact same thing.

  32.  @ModjoConCarne  Well, I didn't know that Tom Holland is acting on random stage plays, I was under the impression that this is going to be a movie. So what's it going to be? Because we aren't ignoring facts because they don't support our narrative, we are ignoring facts because they are not part of the topic. The fact that playing in shakespeare works is pretty much unavoidable to any stage actor, especially in Britain has nothing to do with this if this was casting done for a movie or similar. And similar here means high cost high exposure. So just because actors play in Romeo and Juliet, it doesn't mean that her casting wasn't racially and politically motivated. Of course we cannot be 100% sure that it WAS either, but nowadays unfortunately it's a pretty good guess that it was.

  38.  @devastatheseeker9967  I'm saying this for years now, guy above says he is bad at handling money, but I think the guys who really don't know how to use money are those who keep saying "never preorder" When I was a kid/teenager/had no money I did the same thing as you guys, knew I wanted to play a game when it realeased, maybe even wanted a CE box, then I spent time allocating funds and pre-ordered it. What "no pre-orders" wants to mean is that "don't jump on the hype train" and if the only way for you to make informed decision is to not pre-order and wait for reviews? Then do that. But it's possible to develop a good sense of deciding what you want to play and decide yourself if it's good or not. That's what I think anyway.

  43. I'm in the process (since December) to play through the Dragon Ages. I'm in Inquisition right now, playing it the first time while I played DA:O, played for the third time. And Wardens were never actually hated, just forgotten and ignored. The Joining itself was kept secret so the mortality rate wasn't knows either. Why factions are wary of you is that when Wardens show up that means the Blight is just around the corner too. And of course nobody likes honoring ancient treaties (except the dwarves, they love those) But enough corrections. Based on this trailer it seems like people who knew that's cool got sacked and we have crybabies in charge now, whom cannot take a second of dark fantasy. I'm not saying fun and humour is bad of course, DA2 is a game that's mostly worth playing because sarcastic Hawke. But him and Varric did the comic relief in a setting that was definitely not cartoonish. That's what made it work.

  45.  @ModjoConCarne  I have no reason to know what "London production" is, either way I doubt a "local theathre" production would make the headlines, which drives it back to the point where the cast members were deliberately chosen. And at this point no, the burden of proof is no longer held by us. What I mean by that is that the last few years were full with this type of racism or feminism or just in general the "woke agenda" So yes it's entirely possible that you are in fact correct and this casting was done in good faith. But the community can no longer give any benefit of the doubt, because how often this "take white character paint it black and make her ugly too" has taken place. Unfortunately for me, none of this changes the fact that you are right in this. A correct argument has to be made. So if she wasn't diversity picked, it would mean that there was some other consideration, assuming she wasn't the only one trying for the role. And because the play already has a "starring" actor I would say it's safe to assume that casting wasn't from a small local group. I cannot tell how good she is because her IMDb profile has 4 roles listed, but I also assume she plays on stage continously. Her profile does say she is more into sound/music however so maybe, assuming positively, that's a hint on how the actual play will be? Either way if Tom Holland brings in his "star power" and acting then what does she bring? Was she picked for the role because she is talented and people want to put her into a big production or is she taken because she is just black? Because it's sure as hell not her looks that got her the role. Either way, be it a play or not, the case here isn't a "well who do we have who haven't played Julia yet?" but a "chose actors with deliberation" and I feel that it's reasonable to suspect racial motivation. If it's not then it's actually a win for everyone, except racists I guess. IF it is, then it's a big L, because then everyone will assume racism even harder.

  48. Isn't that bad game design? Wasn't "ability to lose" a key requirement for a game to be a game? I mean yes it's really cool how you can make a ball-plow, but then again why bother if you can just take the plow and manually sweep all the balls into the center? Somewhat weird puzzle where you can just carry the balls to the goal, the real puzzle is which solution is the fastest.

  49. On one hand you are right on another the designs are pretty good, I like how she looks. I actually like D4 design it doesn't look forced in either direction, although with the addition that succubi would probably not wear demonic bras and the like. It's just too bad that since Blizzard decided that women are banned in their games and all that jiggles is fruit, you can't trust them to make design choices as artistic choices instead of political ones. A real shame.
