@jaydunna2645 But he just said that some cultures value spending a lot of money on these things and shame others for not doing that. So release the same item, but with different pricing. Korean Version: $1000, European version: €1, this way everyone can be happy, right?

@Blisterdude123 True, but just because realism wasn't an objective, hell it wasn't even on the priority list, it doesn't mean the writers/screen directors / whatever can get away with anything. Internal consistency, suspension of disbelief and the resulting immersion are all very important for anything that's isn't satire/parody/pure comedy Loney Tunes wasn't trying to sell dramatic moments.

The sad thing is that Diablo and PoE could be in the same space not really competing and both be really fucking good. Could have been.
9
@sambaranbaidya2248 But then again, those are adult women there, could have chosen any other job, they chose to be gacha loot.
9
@coaiemandushman1079 Wow. What?
9
@jeffmarcogo1363 Rofl, I meant jailbreak as removing these restrictions (just like a jailbroken phone), but yeah this one is funny too

Here is an idea: Give necromancer minions dmg reduction inversely related to their current hp% Meaning they can be bursted down which means you do have to watch out for them, but regularm inion dmg usually wouldn't kill them because on low health they would take very little damage. And then just add a dmg multiplier which scales with minion health. So let's say a skeleton deals 100% damage above 80% hp while they deal only 20% under 20% health. Then tweak the numbers to approach balance. This way minions are relatively durable, but not unkillable, which means skeleton healing and minion buffin has time to actually matter (there is no reason to heal your skellibois if they die from the next attack anyway) but you still lose DPS if your skeletons are low (but your abilities can still activate that depend on them) Like this "uh, nekro to stonk, nerf nerf" direct approach is just amateur hour, devman bad.

Well to be honest it's pretty impressive how crazy fat some people can get. That takes dedication.
9
@seenkyle5591 Honestly the wheelchair seems dumb as a fistful of dryed moths, but if it turns out that brearing-ball looking stump is actually an engine he uses to power his wheelchair, then that's pretty much a horseless chariot at that point which sounds pretty cool on the other hand. And being fat is just normal for smiths so that's also in question.
9
No, even then it wouldn't be fine. If you said this is your list I would ask you if you are okey.
8
@Greedman Pretty much nothing works with the wheelchair. For a player who insist on their char to be in one everyone else has to completely suspend disbelief and just handwave everything. I mean you can't do 90% of the stuff you would otherwise have to do. Melee fighting completely out, ranged out except maybe crossbow if a mechanism is isntalled for reloading, mobility is effectively 0, because the moment it's not a flat surface without obstruction, you are done. There is a reason why disabled is called "disabled" It's just that simple. Fantasy allows you to circumvent it or use it as plot point which is done very often.
8
So why is that sad? They know what they are doing, know the consequences both negative and positive, and made a decision based on that.
8
Battlepass technically does nothing so it's not P2W What it does show however, is that Blizzard is just another corporate company that cannot see past the quarterly reports. I imagine it's extremely difficult to actually make a good game in a place like that.
8
I suppose it's my unpopular opinion, but I pretty much agree with all mount restrictions, pretty much always. Especially with the achievement requirements (loremaster and explorer mostly) for flight.
8
@douwe4254 If you ask me the development team is reduced to a skeleton crew of drones. Even when you are skilled, a good team often needs a few unhinged visionaries to do great stuff. Now all those guys who could make a great game were cancelled, the people who had the talent and initiative to do good work regardless left of were let go and I would say that most of the remaining crew is the people who are there because A - a paycheck and B - delusions of grandeur.
8
@rhrendy7 They did, but this is kind of a ceremony, so I think that everyone goes through the steps. Biden made a major blunder, Zelenskyy accepted the "save" from Biden and everything kept on going. I'm that socially adept and even then I could be asleep of half of everything and still know what's going on by guessing the process of the meeting/event. And I am asleep half the time, so I should know.

certified OverSimplified "OH NooO" moment
8
Best part of pirating a game is that you don't have to go through the hassle with either setting up stupid accounts, nor dealing with DRMs
8
This doesn't even make sense in any shape or form. Insanity.
7
Man, I can't get neither.
7
Have you noticed how the term "tolerance" is no longer used?
7
It's a very easy decision to make if you think about it. It's free money for everyone, except for the simps, but what would they do with that money they had anyway? Certainly nothing smart.
7
@Foxaris No problem, they just gonna torrent the prison sentence
7
Wait, why are you hating him? Why is he an asshole? I mean it doesn't matter much sure, but now I'm curious.
7
She is crying crocodile tears, she also probably inherited a 👢👧
7
@augustday9483 I wouldn't be surprised if she didn't bother backing the cupcakes either. Just made something that might look like a cupcake someday for show.
7
I think that the software used deserves the credit. I've posted some AI art and I simply post the algorithm host, the prompt and the seed too. AI art is not much different from any other photoshop tool in my opinion.
7
Is it actually an act? It feels like if you name your account like that you are doing an act.
7
This flirting is what I would expect from a "Steamy Romance Novel" item I find on leper gnome.
7
@masteryoghurt2110 It's really not difficult, Palpatine is evil because he does evil things and looks evil. Same with Vader or any character really. They are quite literally colour coded. Anyone outside of that is made with "cool" first and "morality" second, but you can still very easily tell. And if they are not cool? They are a bad character then. This is how it's supposed to be.
6
@Endelin Me, the dungeon master, has new ideas for enemies. Swarm of rat roaches. Or maybe giant rat roach? Roach rat? Can it fly? Maybe burrow speed with flight so you are underground in a cave and from the god damn ceiling burst forth rat roaches.
6
This is a correct way of handling things too, 'cause wounds heal, the fear remains, everyone can get on with their lives.
6
@TheHeartThatRunsCold The expected is happening. A small group tries to exploit an otherwise arbitrary difference, generating conflict until it boils over and becomes a real actual conflict, affecting the entire group. You don't have to go far to see examples of it in full swing, actually.
6
@adamstern5116 I want to add that subjectivity can also be considered. But an individual can't identify themselves. Society, others around you, identify you.
6
Here is my internet point, take it to the top.
6
@Klnkykoala A clear example of intentionally misidentifying context for the purpose of self interest. Which is also something we, humans, are doing for ages. That's they way it is. On a slightly different tone I find it hilarious that they targeted a kid, yet the kid just happened to have good answers. Shows that these vegans never went further than elementary school kid level of thought.
6
Do you know where I didn't need to have any of these ethics trainings? Getting my degree is a blasting technology engineer.
6
I can't believe anyone could say something like this with a straight face. I just wonder what they are getting out of it?
5
Remember that character from Courage, the cowardly dog? The one who exclusively lived in dirt?
5
Agreed and supported from the other side: I'm a hungarian, living in Hungary, working for an American company. Technically it's an IT job, as a mainframe specialist. But it's clear as day that the company moves out from the US and other western countries because hiring people there costs more money. I make $1773 before taxes and $1165 after. But good news is that the company figured that they could get work done even cheaper if they hired from far eastern countries like India. What happens very often is that we complain that the salaries are low and our managers shrug and say "they can't help it, it's budgeted in the US" So there you go, even if the US decides against immigration entirely, the work just gonna emmigrate.
5
@redeyes3847 No, no. This includes working too. Or even caring for your children as well. In a 1000 years no one, assuming there is anyone left, will knew you ever even existed. What matters to you is completely arbitrary.
5
Maybe Freiza had the right idea after all.
5
@Dodanos1 This always bring Dragon Age Origins into mind, which I first pirated, played through and was so impressed by it that I purchased the full package with every DLC, the whole shebang and it was worse than the pirated copy with no DLC.
5
I don't play WoW anymore but from the snippets I've caught it looks like SoD has a system where you can 'discover' stuff that was added in later expansions. Which of course means that devs would have to spend a lot of time balancing as these skills and abilities taken almost out of context can and will be incredibly broken. They have had to know this.
5
@leinonibishop9480 I hate those goblins and the rest of the goblins too, partially because how shitty their guards are. I was ganked quite a few times in goblin towns only to be fucked up by the goblins when I try to protect myself. On the other hand I farmed the Bloodsail Admiral twice with the same character, I think I went up to revered for the second run actually. Little green shits, they taste something awful too.
5
I would argue that it's a review bombing in a sense that you aren't reviewing the game itself, but the abhorrent monetary practices surrounding it. But I do concede that it's still valid to say "don't buy a game that's singleplayer but you have to pay $2 every time you want to change character" This game screams "pirate me" and even if you were to buy it you would probably want to pirate it and play the pirate copy to avoid all this bullshit.
5
Broh Miquella is perhaps the most hyped character in a FromSoft title, he is unconscious the entire game and is still somehow the main motivator of 2 demigods.
5
MY AI generated copy will be here to watch them.

@ER-ie1yr First of all, just because you imagine things, like additional meaning, it doesn't mean it's there. Second, you could try and develop the ability to separate statements. Just because the journalist made the dumb journalist insult of dumbness it doesn't mean that his earlier statement isn't true. OP here rewriting it so it fits his narrative on the other hand is definitely the same braindead move the journalists we mock here keep doing. Just look at this comment section, OP changes the original article's text to support his narrative and conveniently omits everything that isn't (like how scans can be edited or that the journalist brought up examples that would put this narrative into question) Then someone else points all of this out. For which the first reply is "HUE HUE YOU DRONE" which is such an intelligent reply I think a handful of dried moths could do better. For instance you could look at the character and model itself and tell if there is even a point of caring about realism, or if you ignore the second part of the article, does the first part make sense? But all I saw here is "IGN BAD, OKEY?!"
5
@rariber What we can at least agree on is sending the only foreigner samurai who is immediately recognizable anywhere, to do covert operations is...a strange choice.
