@eventusvantos2770 My point is still there that there is no actual difference there to any other car. A Honda Civic has a sloping roof line, is it also a Coupé?
1
In some markets these Touaregs cost the same if not more than Range Rover Sports, BMW X5s, or even their own stablemate the Audi Q7... Needless to say you don't see Touaregs very often in those markets.
1
Who would buy it though?
1
It's always raining everywhere in western Europe.
1
I do wish manufacturers came up with ways of integrating the radar without putting it in the badge and then the badge itself just being a sticker. It looks so ridiculously cheap in this, Acuras, Jaguars, Mercedes, etc.
1
European market still has the Focus, Fiesta in new generations etc all with 3-cylinders, so yes.
1
"All new"
1
I don't know who is buying these in Europe/UK, but I suppose it's the people who very specifically want a Wrangler. Just like the video verdict and complaints, people won't agree with it but for the things people generally buy SUVs for the Wrangler sucks. But you don't care if you want a Wrangler.
1
Wide enough MPV's and SUV's that have 3 individual rear seats
1
The Civic would look the best if it dropped those fake vents off the back
1
This list is for major car brands, Subaru sells very badly in the UK and the rest of Europe.
1
Oh look a ford focus st-line
1
They made one like a couple years ago when it came out, surely you mean the 2008?
1
It's complicated. Size and price wise it's closer to the E-/5-/A6 models but the rear seat has similiar features as the executive limousine models the S-/7- and A8.
1
This is still only as the 1st edition in the UK which does get alloys, but elsewhere in Europe where we already have all the other trims, every single ID.4, even the top of the range ID.4 gets 19" steel wheels with horrid hubcaps. On an above 50k car. It's ridiculous. Every alloy is a 1000+ £/€ option.
1
It's longer than the 508
1
Wait what's the difference between the 2018 XC40 and the 2019 XC40? Too early for a facelift anyway... Btw those orange carpets are going to look absolutely horrid after 2 days of use.
1
The AMG GT is old and probably getting retired very soon, so this is not only an SL replacement but also an AMG GT convertible replacement.
1
DS is a French brand owned by PSA, a large part of their market is in China though. I don't know but you might be thinking of MG which is 100% chinese nowadays.
1
Not enough people buy Subarus in the UK or the rest of Europe either for it to get on the list. The list is for major car brands.
1
Dacia Sandero hasn't been crash tested in 2018-2020.
1
Mercedes is the only german premium brand that makes actually exciting looking cars.
1
The problem with Teslas is their price. Jesus h christ they're expensive. A top spec I-pace costs less than a base model X, and you have to take into account that Teslas production is historically slow and their build quality is horrid. Cheap pleather, vw golf level plastics, uneven panel gaps and misfitting trim pieces... for up to 180k. I'll gladly skip over a p100D if it means I save 100k for a top spec I-pace.
1
The question between these cars pretty much is do you value practicality and performance or do you also want exclusivity and (more) luxury.
1
I am somewhat surprised they went straight to electric only for the new generation, BUT on the other hand Volvo isn't luxury enough to command the price hikes needed for engines that can pull such a big car anymore. Everyone else has had to go plug-in to not get punished and phev is just really the worst of both worlds in normal cars
1
Oooh so it's gunning for the Q7? Always thought that car just looks like an MPV
1
As usual, luxury brand charges 10k for the electrochromic roof when its 1,5k on a Renault 😂
1
Of course Chevrolet wasn't on here, GM doesn't sell Chevrolet or any cars for that matter in the UK where carwow is from or Europe in general.
1
"Coupe" since when can 5-door cars be coupes
1
People buying sports cars usually buy with their heart, not their brain.
1
Why does the rear look like a Fiat Tipo?
1
Part of me wonders if Toyota made the bZ4x as hopeless as it is to make the RZ a better product and worth the price in comparison.
1
They need this to be profitable and allow them to make cars like the Emira
1
Fair point. Although the celerio is probably a bit more relevant to the british audience than subaru anyways
1
MG is literally on this list, other's not sold in the UK, so...
1
I love the interior and exterior design, however I have absolutely no experience or idea of how PSAs Chinese made cars are like in comparison to their others. I understand why they did that, considering that it uses the same platform as the China-exclusive Peugeot 508 Long wheel base model and it's largely aimed at their market since I doubt a new comer sedan will be a sales hit in Europe.
1
0:26 What a weird cut out
1
Idk why you'd pay so much money for a Volkswagen. Currently the regular Touareg costs as much as an X5 or Cayenne in my market so can't imagine the R being any cheaper than an X5M or Cayenne Turbo or whatever
1
@purwantiallan5089 The R4 will also be an EV, sorry to tell you.
1
Repeating myself but my main issues with the 4-series aren't as much with the shape/size of the grille as much as the ridiculous fake vents flanking it and the weirdly softened headlights that look like they're off an older 1-series and not a larger car like this.
1
Part of it might be that I doubt a single person in Europe has a spark with an automatic and a manual is infinitely less likely to go wrong compared to a CVT or whatever automatic GM was sticking in those things.
1
Those panel gaps were about as bad as on a Tesla
1
He's already done one and he linked it in this video.
1
@JoeyLovesTrains It's not a legal requirement yet I don't think but a lot of European models especially more expensive models do put the hazards on if it detects that you're doing an emergency stop, it's not just an Audi thing.
1
I don't understand why this wouldn't have android auto when even the i10 has it?
1
Yeah you can say that all you want but a Škoda Fabia, Hyundai i20 and Kia Rio are all cheaper than this and are still nice to be in and use. The price isn't an excuse.
1
For me, the Jag is a no-brainer if I had to pick: - The Jag (Here in Finland) starts at just 80k and is at most 120k while the Model X starts at 100k for the 75d five seater, and the base 100d is already the same price as a fully decked out I-pace. With the specs I'd like, the Jag would still be just 100k. - I like when design effort is put into cars and the materials feel worthy of the price, hell the Peugeot 3008 has better materials than a Model X and that costs just 23k. - I hate when all functions are on a touch screen. It'll age poorly and you can't use any functions without either distracting yourself or stopping. The model X is a great car especially for being a pioneer, it's just a bit bland and way overpriced for what you really get. But it's just window shopping me (I drive a '99 Rover 75) and for us youtube commenters anyway since probably a lot of commenters are too young to drive anyway.
1
Great!... Who asked?
1
3:36 I don't see how haptic feedback makes anything better, it just tells you you've pressed something, not what you've pressed.
1
Some designers need to learn how to edit their designs. Consider if you really need every detail and angle.
