  3.  @maureenhillier8948  It depends on the life. That said, the Earth is in a CO2 drought. Historic levels have been significantly (>10X) higher than present. Many of the deserts of today used to be forested or jungle. And the Carbon in biomass comes from somewhere(not the ground).

  5.  @MattPSU02  I had an old friend who'd been a high up at NASA and funded a lot of their projects. He believed in climate change, but only so far as it was a natural occurrence. He funded a lot of the scientists (as in signed the checks) and said that it was all about the money. The scientists wanted faster computers to run their models and he was one of the reasons Cray existed. You can make a model say anything, and there was more money in making come to certain conclusions.

  14.  @Mzbonezz  business don't put people into poverty. people are born into poverty and have to find a way out. why not get together with a group of other poor people and move to someplace with a low cost of living and build a community like they did through he previous million years of humanity? Six people with minimal work could easily feed dozens more. Build a community, revitalize an old one. It does not take very much money.

  30. Two other works that people should be aware of are: Manna , a short story by Marshall Brain and The Age of Spiritual Machines: When Computers Exceed Human Intelligence by Ray Kurzweil. It it this book that Harari gets all of his ideas from. I have read Harari, but I have not heard any new ideas b him. Kurzweil is currently the technical director for Google. Manna can be found on the web and there are also audio books of it on youtube. It will take less than an hour to listen to it.
