  40.  @rachelm9350  It's only around 14% that's not "insanely high". It's higher than most Europe countries but still not that high. America's current unemployment rate is around 9-10%. More to the point though it's about the conditions of the workers so unemployment rate doesn't mean jack to that. People in Spain aren't working 2 jobs and still being unable to afford rent.

The income tax rate is tied to how much you make. The more you make the higher your rate. If you're at a 40% income tax you're a billionaire.

  44.  @peterc.1618  The official number recorded for poverty in Saudi Arabia is 6% with the estimated true poverty rate at 12%. It is the 10th lowest poverty nation in the world. Please stop making me have to constantly fact check you guys on your nonsense. It's getting old really fast. 20% is also not even close to the highest in the world. The highest poverty rate in the world is over 70%. The official poverty rate in the US is 11% meaning the true poverty rate is probably closer to 15-17%. That also doesn't include those who make above poverty but less than enough for all their needs which makes up probably at minimum 30% of the country as a conservative value. It's estimated about 22%(official rate) of the UK are in poverty. And in Canada 6.4%(official) poverty rate. Can you next time get your facts correct before commenting on things like poverty.

The things he "fights for" already exist in a lot of countries. He's trying to catch the US up to the rest of us not "improving the world." I honestly think you Americans need to step outside your country and realize just how much more advanced other societies around you are.
