  3. When you think about it, the idea of half of the population being engaged in academic degrees is completely insane. It was a bizarre cargo cult that thought that "degrees make you earn more", as if it was not in fact that only the top 5% in academic ability of the population went to university and therefore of course those people ended up with higher wages, not because of the degree, but because they were very smart. It's as if putting Oxford degrees in cereal boxes would somehow make everyone in the country oart of the intellectual elite. Add to that all the negative consequences, years of people being economically inactive while studying, massive cost to taxpayers since most student loans are never repaid, leftist brainwashing no longer confined to a small elite but done to half of young people, and a lot of frustrated people (elite overproduction) who think they deserve to be part of the elite but are really not.

  15. The fact is, our military contribution, despite being bigger than other countries, was fairly pathetic. We were repeatedly humiliated, first in Iraq, where we bragged about what a superior job we were doing in Basra compared to the Americans in Baghdad, with no Iraqi resistance or insurgency, until the Americans realized that the reason there were no attacks against British troops, is that the Iraqis had realized we were completely useless and took control of the city under our noses, waving at our soldiers as their troops went around the city murdering their opponents and sieizing control. Then the US Marines had to go in while we hid in our bases and basically conquer the city all over again. The same thing happened in Helmand province, where the US conquered it, put us in charge of the occupation, then eventually realized we'd let the Taliban take over again and had to reconquer it all over again.

Um actually, look at the OSCE reporting (Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe, formed after the Cold War ended and including every European country), its report in the days leading up to the invasion - they showed a massive increase in cross border attacks on the Donbass by the Ukrainian army. And going back further, it is the Kiev government that attacked the people of Eastern Ukraine when they refused to submit to its (totally unlawful) authority after the Western backed coup in 2014. The Donbass militias, while they received Russian backing, were made up of Eastern Ukrainians, and the Kiev government waged a brutal war against them.

I'm not sure if the modern incarnation of it is the same as the old (back into the 19th century) but it obviously has deep roots. (and no it isn't because they "love democracy and liberal tolerance and all that other stuff, since the British establishment is far more Russophobic than the French, or German or Italian elites for example). It is really genuinely deranged, remember that utter freakout every party and the entire media had at Farage when he dared to ever so slightly contradict the official narrative?

If you really wanted to do better, it could have been redirected into things that would actually have guaranteed economic benefits and focused on improving efficiency (i.e. would lower emissions AND make the economy mor productive. Scrappage schemes to get older cars off the road and subsidize people buying MORE EFFICIENT petrols cars, as well as electric. Massive subsidies to fund better insulation and installing triple glazing in every house in the country. Every policy should be ased on how cost effective it is, not ideology.)

We don't need another centrally controlled party, we have that with Labour and The Tories, we need a real consituency based democratic party, where local branches choose their own candidates without the party leadership interfering etc etc. But this stuff should be resolved behind closed doors, not in public.

If Farage really cared about the national interest, here's the way out for Reform - wait until the investigation finishes and clears Lowe, then return the whip to him, allows Farage to save face and merely say "we had to follow process and Lowe has been determined not to have acted inappropriately, so we are restoring the whip". The proceed to have real internal party democracy, at least among the MPs. The facvt that Lowe has to spend weeks trying to get a meeting with Farage is ridiculous, these guys should be spending an hour together as a group every day - if they had already been doing this this blowup would never happened.

  50. No other races take it, but they're told they're victims and then they are told to attack and berate the white people taking the course as part of it. So the non white people are asked to talk about how bad white people are, their experiences of racism etc, and then the people running the course tell the white attendees that those experiences are their fault and they need to accept their guilt for it etc.
