He brought a gun to the apartment with the intent to Rob and in that period of time of robbery shot someone. That shows a normal mental state to me.   43. Like I said he's guilty. In my opinion he was the aggressor by the way he responded to the gentleman being on the phone. Obviously he was obnoxious enough that her husband felt the need to curse at him. So I don't believe this excuse that the officer politely asked him to turn the phone off. Because if he politely ask him, I'm most certain by the demeanor of his wife and how she presents herself that I don't think her husband would just started cursing at him for no reason. And me myself I don't care where I'm at if I have a baby a child period being watched by someone I'm not turning my phone off I need to be alert if something's occurs with my child, I'm sure any parent any human being in general would understand but obviously this officer didn't or care. Second in my opinion it just seems like this officer must have been having a bad day prior to coming here because for you to shoot someone because they threw popcorn at you is just completely way over the limit of excessive force.

  45. I think it's sad that detectives don't give parents updates on their child's murder. They leave them sitting in the background wondering what is going on. I understand when there's no changes or no leads or possibly they don't know if the leads are going anywhere yet that they don't want to get the hopes up of the parents, but that doesn't mean that you don't let them know what progress has been made if any at all. You know what I'm saying that is just probably the most painful thing for a parent is to not be updated or know that the police are actually trying to attempt to find her killer.
