  2. Germany should not have made genocide and should have granted freedom to the people of the USSR who were against Stalin. In this way the USSR would have been defeated.   4. Not quite, Japan bombed the USA after an oil embargo on Japan started, and that oil embargo came after Japan invaded French Indochina. Thus if Japan did not invade China (1937) and French Indochina (1940) there would be no oil embargo and no bombing of Pearl Harbor later.

The Ukrainians wanted independence, they fought for it both against the Soviets and the Poles after the first world war. The same goes for the Caucasus peoples, there the urge for independence was even bigger and Poland would have had a terrible time dealing with Chechens, Azeris, Armenians, Russians, Cossacks and so on.
