Seriously? What about the Mongol invasions, the Japanese civil wars in the 16th century, the Ottoman wars?
2
Well, at the very least they wanted a new world order.
2
Too many neonazis.
2
So, you're done! When are you gonna' bring them to Nuremberg? Do you know where they live?
2
Yes, but Hitler's Germany wasn't supposed to be just strong, but also to implement a gruesome racial agenda in Europe, thus Germany had to be stopped.
2
Why didn't Hitler respect the Netherlands, Belgium, Greece, Yugoslavia, Denmark, Norway since they were neutral and didn't want war?
2
What do you mean Hitler dropped the central bank? Nazi Germany had a central bank Deutsche Reichsbank.
2
@command_unit7792 Yes, nazi collaborators had to be punished, but not those Soviet POWs who simply didn't want to return to the USSR.
2
So that people do not believe that TIK condones such ideas.
2
But Chamberlain declared war on Germany, not Churchill. Chamberlain fought Hitler in Norway and in France.
2
If Italy was not sanctioned and remained a friend of Britain and France, then perhaps a chain of events would start and Germany would make an alliance with the USSR.
2
So there are still people who believe that it was Churchill who declared war on Germany on September 3rd 1939.
2
In order to annex the Sudetenland with its 3 million Germans, but actually he wanted to occupy entire Czechoslovakia and obtain a better strategic position in central Europe.
2
But without WW1there would have been no independence for Poland, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania, Finland, Yugoslavia, Hungary.
2
LOL Sudeten Germans were in Czechoslovakia, not Poland. And the Sudeten German militias were the ones attacking Czechoslovak police.
2
Germany's lack of oil made the war against the USSR inevitable. Hitler wanted Germany to become an autarky.
2
The problem with former socialist/communist countries is that they spent to much money on weapons, and in USSR's case it spent too much on nuclear armament and submarines. That diverted too much money from health and education to defense spending. Thus the problems with healthcare could not be solved.
2
The Japanese army was already fighting in China. An attack on the USSR would have overstretched the Japanese army. The Navy however was very powerful and believed that it can win the war against the US Pacific Fleet.
2
The flag of Manchukuo.
2
@walt1999walt The Turks were allied to imperial Germany in WW1. Nazi Germany was a very different animal.
2
@ajsimo2677 Yes, Turkey was no longer the empire that dominated the Balkans and the Middle East. Even so, Turkey would have opposed a Nazi invasion by any means necessary.
2
@gtownboi3877 Everyone needs to read more.
2
Many people believe Hitler was a British agent.
2
Who told Hitler that the Jews are freemasons?
2
Libyan oil was not discovered yet in those years, Romanian oil was insufficient.
2
No, no , no, you are wrong, it was impossible for Britain to declare war on the Soviet Union in 1945, Britain was at the end of its war effort, it was in a financial crisis, Britain would have been defeated.
2
@unnamed776-m9h Maybe that group is only in your brain. You are searching for scapegoats, like the nazis did.
2
Not quite. Biden is helping Ukraine against the Russian invaders.
2
@uncleanon6445 Was Germany pleading for peace when it invaded Czechoslovakia, Poland, Norway, Denmark, Greece, Yugoslavia, Belgium, the Netherlands and conquered a big part of the USSR?
2
@uncleanon6445 Who beat the shit out of Germany? Did Denmark do it? Or maybe Greece, Belgium,Yugoslavia, the Netherlands? Why did Germany invade them? My friend, your data is distorted.
2
@uncleanon6445 The USA didn't just nuke 2 cities, the USA firebombed many cities, killing tens of thousands of civilians. The Reich also bombed civilians in Poland, the Netherlands, France, Yugoslavia, Greece, the Soviet Union. There were no good guys in this war, but some were less bad than others.
2
@uncleanon6445 The Reich bombed Warsaw, Belgrade, Rotterdam, London, Leningrad, Odessa, Kiev and many more cities, killing civilians indiscriminately and you call these accidents? Seriously?
2
@uncleanon6445 Today the Holodomor is known and studied. As for the official narrative of WW2 nothing will change, regular people just don't care anymore.
2
@uncleanon6445 The Reich didn't save anyone, the Reich invaded neutral countries that wanted nothing to do with Germany, bombed civilians indiscriminately and did ethnic cleansing. In the end it was the Allies that saved western Europe from a potential Soviet "liberation", but already eastern Europe came under Soviet occupation.
2
Bringing German speaking nations under a single control is fine, but what about the German invasion on Czechoslovakia in March 1939? The Czechs are not Germans, they did not want to be under German control.
2
The Soviet-German non-aggression pact included secret protocols about the invasion of Poland, the Baltic States, Finland and Romania, thus it was much more than a non-aggression pact, it was more like an alliance.
2
Germany had no right to become a Super Power under the Nazi vicious regime. The Nazis had to be stopped, they wanted European domination, not just economic power.
2
The Soviet attack on the Romanian refineries in 1941 did little damage. The main attacks on the Romanian refineries came in 1943 and 1944 and it was done by the US Air Force, it was these attacks that made the biggest damage.
2
No, no no, Japan started WW2 by invading China in 1937.
2
@Francois15031967 By your logic it was the USSR and Germany that started WW2, because they signed the Soviet-German pact in August 1939 in which they split eastern Europe between them.
2
@Francois15031967 Wrong. It was a non-aggression pact that included secret protocols that allowed Germany and the USSR to invade Poland, Finland, Romania, Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania.
2
@DODO-vy6sf And yet the Germans tried, see Operation Sea Lion.
2
Wars are not started by referendum.
2
@benh5366 Yes, it was, Nazi Germany was much worse than the British Empire.
2
The German economy could have been saved if the Nazis were eliminated from power and the army kept in a tight leash with a drastically reduced budget and size.
2
Seriously? What about Generalplan Ost?
2
@cyberhermit1222 It's not just about racism it is also about Hitler's racist agenda, his plans for other nations.
2
Because the Norwegian port of Narvik was the closest to the Swedish mines. It was faster and cheaper to use Narvik.
2
Blind to what?
2
It all depended on the will of the French and British peoples, they wanted peace in 1935. Thus even if the British and French governments would oppose Mussolini over Ethiopia, those government would still have to win the support of the people.
