  1. No. The Allies would not wait for Germany and Japan to attack in 1942. The Allies too would become stronger, the Soviets would mobilize more troops, more tanks, more planes. The US too would be more prepared for dealing with Japan in 1942.

You doubt that Germany would have attacked France and the UK if it wasn't for their declaration of war, but the French and British leaders at the time could not trust Hitler, thus they could not let the Nazis dominate central and eastern Europe. No one knew how far Hitler's ambitions would go.

Britain and France were already at war with Germany, it would have been suicide for Britain and France to declare war on the USSR too, Britain would have lost the war. Also, why did Germany invade neutral countries like Denmark, Norway, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg, Yugoslavia, Greece?

Thus, if Japan did not invade China and French Indochina there would not be an oil embargo. Asians did not want a Japanese Empire to rule them. Japan aligned itself with Germany because they were afraid that Japan would be dominated by the USSR or the USA, Japan wanted a bigger empire.

On the contrary, his quest for the expansion of the armed forces and economic autarky lead to an economic crisis that could be alleviated only by starting a war and capturing other countries' resources, otherwise the nazi economy would have collapsed in the 1940s.

  50.  @BleedingSnow  Germany had an oil crisis because its army was dependent on oil now more than ever, Germany was expanding its army in the 1930s, made many tanks, warplanes, more warships, they all needed a lot of fuel, hence the German oil crisis. Even so, despite of the so called boycott Germany received oil from Romania and from the USSR. The boycott itself was almost useless from the start.
