I was just wondering where you were when you posted this. Nice timing👌

I could see her being fired for incompetence or being unprofessional and being unable to teach without forcing their opinion to be mirrored. And it is certainly unprofessional to harass students for having an opposing opinion. No one should be fired for their opinions alone.

Really CBC?
1
So... He is just a hypocrite?
1
To be fair in that on street interview video it showed them asking "do you believe women" not "believe all", or "should we believe all". Which is a completely different question. Of course women should be believed in general. But in the context we are shown "believe all" it should merely be a matter of taking allegations seriously and investigate, not just take it as fact and act on it by presuming guilt of the accused party.
1
"Taken" like one 'takes' your coat. That is really not the statement she made "taken" as in 'confiscated'. Ridiculous.
1
So instead of prison/jail he went to a treatment facility which he left early, violating the conditions set forth. Then she complains no one tried to help?
1
"What system did we create" Well it's not really 'We' there is no 'we'. If you want a system someone else created, who happens to meet her skin tone preference. 'Obamacare' and any of the other systems and programs he oversaw the creation of directly and indirectly. Though I will be the first to say it wasn't just one person, it's never just one person in charge or not. But if your question is what have caucasian americans not been a part of, maybe nothing. But one does not make it inherently racist. Demaning their non-participation is racist, just as it would be for any other group. But that goalpost os going to keep moving and even if the last argument is defeated soundly, she would probably still be obstinate. Probably indignantly rest on, "So now you gonna forget our history? Hmmm!?"
1
"He's clearly desperate" ...well I have a new video idea. *(MTV is clearly desperate) Nevermind misread that. Too bad, it would have been funny.
1
I would argue twitter before was overmoderating political speech while ignoring blatant racism. Nate even showed some examples from his discussions with Bouzy or the people attacking him for not going with the BLM narrative.

My guess is Gen Z grew up seeing the absurdity at the root (in high schools) where they are questioning authority and taking issue with the flaws of the world at present which they had no legal part in deciding. They were raised with social media and may also have more resistance because of that?? But that's all presuming the reliability of the poll. Plus I know from market research grouping people by 'generation' is one of the most useless groupings. The timing of world changing events don't coincide with our arbitrary time brackets. Different regions adapt, or modernize, at different paces....
1
Just for the sake of history, the notion of "believe all women" existed before, but it was only really adopted amongst the staunchest of the cult of feminism (which had lost much popularity prior to ~2010. At least in north America) and then the Social Media propaganda began...
1
She should have made the pun "having been found libel" lol golden opportunity missed. ...Or was it.
1
He does sometimes, probably a product of the social environment, but he does at least seem consistently to respect that people are people regardless.
1
It would also be a violation of oaths taken by healthcare professionals, as well as established ethics for those fields.
1
From what I have gleaned, it sounded more like the fire Chief was doing their job, fanfare aside, but the government really failed to maintain the necessary tools and resources for the department.
1
"who are you to have an opinion?" is a very common reflexive response to attempt to silence opposition. It in itself isn't even a valid argument, unless you can show that the person's lack of knowledge on a subject is foundational to their specific opinion, and that they do Infact lack sufficient knowledge. In other words trting to win with facts and not identity/privilege.
1
All the self proclaimed 'feminists' trying to say looking sexy for others is bad and not the point. 🤦♀️ People change their appearance for how they want to be perceived by others. I mean, do you put makup on and wear high heels around the house? You may on occasion, but probably not the most common use. I don't know why anyone 'supporting women' would want to push doing things opposite to their own preference. I mean, you see it plain as day with younger crowds. When I was in highschool most people weren't clammering to wear clothes with MORE coverage or be MORE repressed. I doubt that has changed or will change.
1
Mental competency tests are probably a bad way to go. I understand the concept but someone should not vote for a mental invalid. What happens when someone inevitably makes a competency test that is slanted in some way, or when they lower the age limit?
1
There are also non-puberty related advantages. ...But that also applies to different individual women and at what point down the road we start factoring in genetics will be an interesting and unfortunate discussion. But these things will have to be decided at some point, if you want to have competition.
1
Oh no, 3 of her cars! Such hardship.
1
No you elect an official under the expectation of professional conduct regardless of their prior manner. He's there to do a job. If you take the stance that anything an elected official does is what the people want, not only is that absurd it is impossible to justify. It's like having a contract with no terms, maybe he eliminates the city or crimes, you can't consent to that. you can't go "ohh he was elected' NO. If you want a refferendum on something to be an exception do that. But once support always support contravenes the very concept of the mechanisms for non-confidence.
1
I don't think I support that phone recording thing.
1
Isn't there a slight error. The firehydrants weren't empty but there was an issue of reduced flow because the reserve tanks were emptied in fighting other fires. Still, all of which is unquestionably a typical issue of excessive coat cutting, along with negligence and ineptitude. Planning was not done for a known eventuality, preparations were not made, priorities were misplaced, and responses were slower and less effective as a result.
1
What about the NEWS ramping up!? And trying to insert a narrative, don't you think that influenced things!?
1
So... to avoid the embarassment of browsing content... Send a man to jail for effectively life.
1
Can I also note, the unreliability and biases in internet polls. Every single poll has to be examined for methodology. You don't necessarily have to throw out the results, but if you understand the context you can apply it better. Where was the poll taken? What were the demographics? how trustworthy are the responses? how were the questions written or prefaced? where was it advertised? What was the sample size? Does the results of the poll even line up with the claims of the article in which it is cited. If it was only respondents from a social sciences or liberal arts wing of a university campus, maybe that isn't a representative sample... If it was an international poll, maybe it doesn't apply well to rural Mississippi.
1
Now was it GR or GB?
1
Unprofessional, absolutely. Fired probably. Arrested!? NO! I mean, the mother was borderline stalking her child. I would be making that argument on the womans behalf if I was that guy.
1
Just me or is the video weirdly quiet?
1
Flying down the staircase... completely uninjured 🤔
1
Do we know it was alcohol stolen? Do we even know if there was actual shoplifting? I am not being argumentative, I genuinely want to know the facts, because I don't know if I missed that or if itvwas just a tiktok insert.
1
See, they are just garbage news.
1
It's weird that they got defamation for his opinion statements. But, did he mistake her for his wife... apparently easily possible.
1
I came without questions, you gave me some, then you answered them. This seems good.
1
I also don't think employers should have no right to investigate or dictate behaviour outside of work that isn't representing the company, illegal, or contract breach. (For example demanding access to view your social media. It isn't a BFOR. However, harassing a coworker outside of work affects work and is illegal... but only if found guilty) Because if all of these places can dictate your speech on your own time, then what actual freedom do you have? You aren't being compensated for time outside of work. Should they be able to say you can't discuss a union or labour rights violations? (as those have a negative impact on the company's bottom line or PR respectively). What if it were an essential service and you were denied access do to an opinion conflicting with their 'terms of service' or 'community standards'.
1
I guess she cares now...
1
Humoring this is a mistake.
1
What's with all these crooked lawyers?
1
I didn't like her in the Mandalorian, her performance was pretty bad. The character was just supposed to be another lazy Disney 'woman power, men weak' narrative thing. I really don't like the fact she played the "shout sexism" card, even though it is to rub it in Disney's face. But I do like that she is suing because people should not be fired for political beliefs. It is against the law in my country, it makes sense to be against the law everywhere. And if we largely keep politics out of work as should be a professional standard, no one's politics would even matter.
1
To be fair, the country has been going to hell for a long time.
1
Was she stateless at the time of the contract?
1
...Maybe they just wanted an excuse to fire someone with low ratings? It seems weird.
1
i don't have an issue with the concept but rather the freedom with which the money can be used. I would rather all the chiod support money go to an organization which manages it like the accounting department. You docunent transactions and file receipts then get reimbursed. Or file an invoice directly. Then all of the remaining money goes to the child upon graduating highschool or turning 18 whichever is sooner.
1
Waiting until after they are out of office is a HUGE disservice to the public.
1
That woman is implying guilt of sexism, harassment, and ignoring issues merely by existing. That logic is a surefire way to make society less free, less equal opportunity, less stable and likely more hateful. "uhh sorry you have been in your job since before me too you have to be fired" Her stated goal isn't equality, creating a voice, or ensuring allegations are investigated it's taking senior employees and replacing them.
1
When people complain about the poor people on welfare, one guy wiped out like what 90 people's worth 100? ...Let alone the companies on welfare. The corruption is ridiculous.
1
~3:30 The question asked was, "Would you say that being paid regardless of play time was an important aspect of the deal in 2017?" The rest was pre-amble.
1
I agree wholeheartedly that the news should stay out of private lives.and that justice should be left to the courts not the mobs or the tabloids. But I don't think it was a good apology, I think he wanted to hedge his bets and try not to throw his employer under the bus.
1
Can I also just say those shows look terrible. Bizarre is one thing (masquerades, carnivals, circuses...), and some people like that. But then flailing about without skill or grace... What is the appeal there? (I am not saying people can't like it, obviously no one has say over that.)
