Out of our experience... maybe don't buy subs from the UK
1
@Audio Maverick It's not like cloning doesn't have a lot of issues, though I would guess this method is more effective. Also, it wouldn't be identical to cloning. The chromatid mixes of a duplicate would produce different results.

Pretty small drone to travel from Ukraine to Moscow.
1
... So it's to be Vandread then is it?
1
probably slightly less badly than if the US sent Taiwan. that mych money's worth of grain.
1
Trying to gaslight people as a precursor to more invasions? Or perhaps just to try to bolster his narrative at home.
1
China just wants Ukraine to surrender.
1
The way you guys (and you tube) are pushing this story really makes it seem like that's what you want. Stop trying to do to banks what you did to toiletpaper.
1
If one form of protest is ineffective people do transition to new forms. I am not particularly fond of protests in general, so if the government wants to end it, find a better solution than reciprocating and escalating violence.
1
What's with the audio on these interviews? Is it one bad mic, is it an editibg error?
1
"We can't risk time loss because we want a thing, so we are going to bypass democracy."
1
Russian ethnic minorities or Mongolian ethnic minorities? Context changes from place to place.
1
Police who uphold these laws, are only facillitating the deaths of their fellow citizens. Whether by war, or by direct consequence of enforcement.
1
Ah, so it's a cold war then.
1
Another empty move, posturing to seem like things are being done.
1
Was it Epic or Nvidia that did the facial digitization demo? it was creepy and janky.
1
I have said it a hundred times though, the longer the world tolerates North Korea's antics the more severe the consequences when it inevitably decides to lash out. Had they taken action to liberate the people before they had nukes, that would have been infinitely less risky. Now, if you make the guy mad (or a subordinate has an itchy button pushing finger) maybe 10s of millions of people die.
1
How classified? and how leaked?
1
The UN should have been the ones to step in before NATO even became part of the discussion. Russia is only one member nation.
1
Not concerned about air pollution? Just tie the vessel off to a couple other ships, submerge it till the fire stops then haul it up to a dry dock for repairs. Or get more ships to suffocate the blaze with enough water? (It may not stop the lithium but you can at least prevent the spread) How about we make ships with compartments we can flood or pump out the air (make a vacuum)? Whatever, it's not like anyone is forcing logical safety requirements on school buses or passenger aircraft, gotta pinch a couple pennies.
1
well, learn from the faux tp famine. Don't televise.
1
Actually the Humans are still the threat. We are long off true AI.
1
If they want to put pressure on putin, push past the border.
1
Is the correspondant Austrian?
1
Why not snag the objects?
1
Someone damages underwater pipelines, China: That gives me an idea. (Or merely pro-chinese groups)
1
Unsurprising
1
Why not shoot it down or force it down, who would be able to say it wasn't a random citizen.
1
Russia begins scorched earth?
1
People in Russia are within their right to be frightened by an explosion. But Ukraine has been living with daily bombardments for over a year. The war is a reality, not something to be ignored. Hopefully someone ousts putin so people can stop dying. (And no, if Ukraine surrenders that merely emboldens Putin to continue. The UN failed just like the League of Nations. Appeasement does not solve the problem.) But to be clear, the deliberate or willfully negligent targeting of civilians is absolutely unacceptable. So far Ukraine has not been doing that, but more and more people will try to justify the disregard. Which will only feed self justification on the other side (a feedback loop). So everyone needs to put their foot down on the matter.
1
Those excited seem to be ignoring the medical ethics questions (Or the likely health effects on such offspring). But it is quite an interesting achievement, and the researcher himself is quite apprehensive about the roadblocks. I suspect this is mostly of interest in Japan due to the low birth rates.
1
Japan should get them, Russia looses any stalemate due to its bad faith and, anti-peace actions.
1
I feel like someone in the US has pitched a story to shift blame. This story is massively misleading. Borders aren't closed it was 'unofficial border crossings'.They just have to go through normal border procedures.
1
We are witnessing the result of an insufficiently direct democracy. If the democracy doesn't act with the intent of the people, it might as well be authoritarian. Like Russia.
1
I really like this anchor.
1
I thought Russia said Ukraine did it ...
1
Drafts are a fast way for governments to destabilize.
1
It isn't important, the UN just wants to pretend it hasn't failed just like it's predecessor.
1
It makes more sense to apply long overdue regulations on tracking and surveillance, than ban it. If they don't comply the effect is the same, but you give an opportunity to solve the problem.
1
Yes... dissuading China from steamrolling the South Pacific, such a terrible thing. I bet NZ + AUS + JP + SK + TW could take China. Especially if you throw India in there.
1
Really should stop smoking near combustibles...
1
False hope? and polliticians often care more about the illusion they are solving problems rather than actually solving problems. Also... Stubbornness ...and group think/herd mentality ("They are doing this, we'll do that.").
1
Seems sketchy. Either it's a show piece, or it is legitimate and will kill its crew.
1
I bet they didn't declare their citizens as being a national emergency...
1
Perhaps this was merely the way to put the criminals back into prison.
1
They should have before innocents were murdered. And the UN should have blockaded the border.
1
If you want a long term plan there are other developing and developed countries to invest in. Pick one, train workers, build factories and shipping hubs.
1
Oh no, the Finnish P.M. seems so cool. Why is Finland better at everything?
1
Well, where do China's exports go? How would war affect that during and after? Most parties would just seek goods elsewhere, so probably good for Mexico, India, etc. But... Economically, China would ruin itself just to pursue the minor gains of territorial expansion (let alone the cost in lives). The very thing that boosted China's economy would be gone, let alone any imports they rely on. If China wants their communist goverment ousted, this is probably the fastest route to that occurring.
1
Yeah old equipment is a great way to cripple a war effort.
