Old video titles: The profitable business of concentration camps. New video titles: This company is pure evil. I dont like the new direction of the channel at all. Now its just wannabe youtube journalism. The old channel slogan "business is complicated" is so much better than "Money. Power. War. Crime." These arent "Premium documentaries". This is just a random guy saying "powerful group X is soooo evil" for 20 to 30 minutes. For that I can just read a history book tbh. Your old videos had charm. Your new videos are just boring. I just cant do this any longer.

Fun fact: before corona the ukrainian parliament passed a bill that made joining nato an official goal of the government. This is why I dont buy the narrative of an "unprovoked" attack. Putin simply waited for the pandemic to die down.

This is sad and all but in the end pinochet did make chile one of richest countries in south america. So I dont mind that some artists were sent to concentration camps. ππ

Β @oldmandoinghighkicksonlyin1368Β nah man. They werent fighting dictatorship in WW2 considering most states back then reverted back to it before the war. Except for Britain, France, the Benelux no european country was truly democratic.
2
@Malvados about latin america: That has nothing to do with democracy or not. The USA is a worldpower and has to act as a regional hegemon or it will get replaced sooner or later.
2
Β @ramtins9258Β I dont just miss the voice. I miss the dark humor. Now its just some generic dude who calls out the system. πππ

The people wanted restrictions lifted. They got restrictions lifted. Then nature did the rest.

Imagine how modern Russia would be like if the mafia ended up controlling the economy. Basically the Mexico of Europe.
2
Β @Aaditya_electroΒ the term "third world" has nothing to do with how developed a country is. Yugoslavia and Lybia were both third world countries despite being highly developed during the cold war.

It would make the most sence for china to set up a Petroyuan. China has no real interest in human rights or international law so there would be no weird tension.
1
"No matter what your views are on communism you have to admit that they were good at branding." Yeah, same goes for christianity, islam, fascism or really any religion/ideology that managed to seize control over large territories. Being memorable is the key to success.

In the case of lybia I wouldnt say that "in the name of freedom" is really out of place. Lybia was obviously tring to expand its influence. Gadaffi basically tried to create an empire based on a lybian gold standard. This would have made the country a superpower and its ruler the hegemon of north africa. We all know how china is threatening western hegemony all around the world. Now imagine lybia trying to do the same in africa and the middle east. The only thing that could have stopped a NATO intervention would be if lybia went nuclear. But we all know how that worked out. Gadaffi instead went soft and introduced civil rights.

1
Β @mem5091Β if anything its fascism. Such a system can only justify itself through ultranationalism and socialdarwinism.

There are so many groups in that region of nigeria that oppose shell that I am certain there would be a communist uprising if they all came together and had good leadership. "I SMELL PROFIT!!! HAHA NICE!"

If you are pregnant and go protesting when the government is known for ruthless crackdowns then any potential misscarriage can only be blamed on you. Victim or not, the vulnerable should not be taking any risks. And if you put your life savings into an illegal business then you should not be surprised if it all suddenly vanishes one day. Only idiots break the law for get-rich-quick scemes that they have no actual control over.

Ima download this before youtube removes it... πππ

βΒ @BentaberryΒ nope, all women that could have left the country to keep living their european fantasy in germany and france. And this happens in almost all wartorn countries. Never heard of refugees?

I have said it once and I will say it again. Saudi arabia is to america what india was to britain: the crown jewel of the empire.

Yeah and the military industrial co plex isbt just dome shiny dudes in suits. Those are arms companies and real people work for them. The more profit the compsny makes the higher the wages.

I am noticing that this video is slowly becoming reality... πππ

Sounds like a perfect crisis for a future wannabe dictator. Nigera is in such a bad position that I am surprised that the military hasnt taken over yet. Pirates in the south bloking trade. Terrorists in the north causing civil unrest. Rebellions in the river delta region dividin the country. And protests in its neighbour cameroon that could easily spill over.

The only thing that is sad is the direction that the channel is heading towards.
1
Ah yes... the environment. Only in the west is it possible that naive children can halt efforts of national security.

βΒ @dope5946Β modern news like to be all dramatic. CNN basically turned the iraq invasion into a war-miniseries.
