Germany have been useless and Olaf would just tell the Ukrainians that due to the current GDP growth rates and cash rates, the assessing value of various commodities, holdings and assets, germany are unable to help at this current time.   14. So far all ive seen is turkey more interested in pleasing Russia. Not part of the sanctions, stalling Finland and Sweden NATO memberships. Accepting Russian cargo ships with grains on them which Ukraine allege are stolen from them. Im yet to see any pressure Turkey has put on Russia

How do you think it gained so much land? By singing songs and dancing with everyone? The countries that joined NATO (Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia) joined because they were occupied and oppressed by Russia for over 50 years. Since they have joined Russia hasn't invaded them and there has been peace both for those countries and Russia. NATO balances Russia and that balance creates peace.

These are tenets of western democracies that are not enjoyed in Russia, so instead of fighting to those tenets, they philosophize on why not having those rights are actually a good thing.

Putin wants to expand Russia's territory, so moldova, all of ukraine and parts of poland are next. They were going to do it, provoked or unprovoked.

  39. Russia are being grinded to a holt. They are advancing very slowly in some towns, being pushed back in others and losing some territory in others. Russia advanced to take Mykolaiv and they were pushed back to Kherson. Then Ukrainians have taken more towns between Mykolaiv and Kherson and its only a matter of time before they take the city. Do you even know whats going on? Russia are having major troubles. New artillery is doing a lot of damage, new anti-air batteries are starting to shoot down Russian missiles. The balance of power is shifting

  41.  @vladimirpetrovic4415 They fought a losing battle against the red army, Wagner group, Chechen fighters, Syrian fighters, all that Putin could scrape together with old rubbles, cheap vodka and a case of cigarettes. And still they held them off for 2 months, knowing that their sacrifice was to slow down the advance so that the rest of the country has a fighting chance. Its heroic, they have my respect.

  44. Russia invaded a European country and have shown themselves to be belligerent and a danger to European security. Sending money to Russia is the wonderland. Dont worry about Germany. It is the 4th largest economy in the world and has one of the largest industrial sectors in the world. It will be fine. Thank you for your concern

  49. Australia's foreign policy and diplomacy has been grossly lacking and they dropped the ball. They need to do more with regards to the Pacific Islands, they should do more with Papua New Guinea and they need to do more with Indonesia. But instead they do nothing, then react when China takes the initiative. Its their own fault. China's deal with the Solomons was years in the making and Australia had every opportunity to come up with a solution and chose not to. Following the US' move is not an adequate foreign policy, publicly criticising China is not a sensible foreign policy. Australia needs to start meeting with its neighbors, including New Zealand and start creating partnerships, start investing in the pacific, start projecting power with an airbase in Fiji or Tonga or Papua New Guinea. Start doing joint military exercises with Indonesia etc. That takes statecraft and diplomacy which Australia hasn't shown for years.
