Also covered their ears somehow at the same time. 10+ ICJ lawyers including the US one believe there is plausible evidence.

Well Americans are a strange mob with a large percentage of them wilfully blind to how socialist they actually are. Agricultural subsidies, subsidies for big pharma and trade protectionism just to name a few examples. Seems more of a case if they personally receive money it's not socialism. Pretty sure many farmers voted for Trump because they feared the socialist Democrats.
1
@chairmanofthebored6860 Yeah there was a pandemic and the US had both the worst economic performance and health performance of any wealthy country. Being the worst of the worst is a fairly bad performance I would suggest.
1
Rural Americans are mostly socialist and support farm subsidies. They know Trump is a socialist also who will up the subsidies if required as he did in his previous term.

I notice there's no nuance in most of the comments. I am from Australia and we don't tolerate illegal immigrants. Trump's plan might look good to some as you believe he is emulating Australia's policy. Problem is he isn't. There's no forward planning and working with other countries including giving them money to make his plans a reality. The problem has become so ingrained in the US because of the policies of both political parties over decades. A better policy given the reality of the situation is to fine employers $50,000 or so per illegal worker. This policy would cost very little and the illegals would leave of their own volition or start some sort of business themselves. A secondary approach would be to fine individuals who hire illegals doing work such as gardening or babysitting, of course the fine shouldn't be so much but even a $1,000 fine would be a deterent to many. The other thing that needs to be fixed is who is allowed to enter on tourist visas for example because that's how many illegals arrived. Then there's actually trying to stop people such as Trump's wife and Elon Musk who were effectively both illegal immigrants once they started working while on a tourist visa. There appears to be no plans to stop illegals who enter legally, just the optics of people walking accross the border looks bad.
1
@alidarke3132 so you want tariffs put on our beef and wine and I am sure other goods. That sort of makes you a pro American no matter what traitor.
1
Yep you are correct, a complete failure.
1
You do know that the military literally runs itself right. Only in the US and probably dictatorships is it required that the Defence minister/secretary need to have even been in the military, it's purely an administrative position involving reading reports. If you are literate in English you are capable of doing the job.
1
Where can I buy whatever it is you are smoking or drinking and will it be cheaper after January 20 if I was to purchase it in the US?
1
At least when it comes to MAGA adherents it's incorrect to say negative attention is not preferred. Owning the libs is literally being proud of making people angry even to the point of hurting your own supporters.
1
Yes unless it's initiated by Republicans it will fail and be a complete waste of time.
1
There's 10s of thousands of people crossing the border each day legally. They do what they can noting the majority of traffickers or at least smugglers are US citizens.
1
I think they might be used to hold doors open instead of using a brick.
1
Lawrence you are currently delusional. The US is an ally of nobody. If you had spoken previously an ally then ok. It's possible the US will have different allies again one day but at the moment North Korea and Hungary and a few other dictatorships are your allies , that's just a fact.
1
They can't go to Mexico or Canada, Trump's tariff will follow you.
1
@chaseschwartz I am not highly aware of the US tax system being Australian but anecdotally what you say seems to be correct.
1
Not a single swing state has been decided, what made you think Kamala was going to win deep red states?
1
It is incorrect to say he doesn't have a mandate, he said what he was going to do and only one third of the population objected. That's actually an incredible mandate,. Most parties in democracies in the world could only dream of such a low objection rate. If you claim there's no mandate you are calling voters stupid because they didn't know what they were voting for even after being told. While Trump does lie a lot , he actually doesn't lie very often when he tells you his intentions. Nothing so far he has done is out of line with what he said he would do.
1
While it might be morally corrupt it isn't legally corrupt in the US.
1
@AlwaysAwesome001 Trump is a socialist. So not sure why you support your dear leader.
1
@Alex-pm8wr So what, you don't need to leave these vehicles connected to the internet if you really don't want because there's no reports of vehicles malfunctioning when they are in areas of no mobile coverage. On that note Tesla's for the Australian market are all Chinese made anyway, so connected to China, US and now arguably Russia noting the current US alliance. I am not a computer geek but if you purchase a vehicle connected to the internet simply disconnect it if it bothers you.
1
Trump is not acting like a King which is 99% ceremonial these days for 99% of constitutional monarchies. The king of Australia, King Charles has nothing to do with our government. Australia doesn't have any person with US president like powers. Any Prime Minister is literally hours away from being sacked when parliament is sitting and the Governor General as the Kings representative and our official head of state has no involvement in politics, they just sign things into law and represent Australia when it's appropriate for our head of state to attend. The Prime minister is the head of government. In the US system you have basically combined 3 positions into one when comparing to our system and on top of that given them extraordinary powers that nobody in our system has such as picking the entire executive government from mostly unelected individuals.
1
MAGA people are often quite angry people. You see them posting angry stuff in the comments after they already won.
1
So isolation is good is it?
1
Not to minimise the $120 billion spent by the US but it pales in comparison to the cost of unjustified invasions of Iraq and Afghanistan and for that matter the total amount sent to Israel to keep an oppresive apartheid system.
1
Elon is correct about the US needing to live within it's means. His solution however is to tax middle and low income people more and remove a lot of welfare payments and corporations less. It's clearly a stupid approach that will increase the wealth gap. Elon hasn't said a word about corporate welfare particularly with agriculture and pharmaceuticals. So evidence is he is a socialist just like Trump that supports welfare for corporations.
1
@steventate8514 huh what's with you, yes the run up in debt by Trump previously is well documented.
1
Your idea only goes into the 10s or optimistically low 100s of billions, nothing like the $2Trillion promised. Probably won't even cover the corporate tax cuts proposed.
1
It's not that simple, US citizens might not be allowed to just get citizenship of the country of a parent especially if adult.
1
Well Trump has got one thing right and that's the debt ceiling is stupid. There's only a few countries that do this and they can be counted on one hand. Australia my country is in the 40's and Canada is in the 80's and the US in the 120's of percentage of government debt to GDP. Over about 50% of government debt to GDP problems usually start to occur. The US is special however and maybe that number is 100% of GDP due to major reserve currency status, but if the US creates a crypto currency reserve all bets are off.
1
Why are MAGA people so angry in the comments section, get over it, you won
1
My guess is Trump won't back down and is more likely to double down.
1
@PhillipJackson-n7m what a silly comment. I am not American but I can tell you taxing the people with low and middle incomes so they can buy less imported goods hurts those people. How is hurting low and middle income people good for USA?
1
@DrivenA111 I am not even American, I come from a free trading nation. Trump's move to what has traditionally been the far left on trade will cost low income consumers a lot in tax. Yep if you rich you don't need to care, your taxes go down not up.
1
@JudyStroyer-bk6fb Yeah the stock market went up more under Biden creating a bigger wealth gap and your point is what? Hopefully your point is the US should increase the federal minimum wage which is too low and the Democrats didn't do this and Trump has no plans to do this.
1
You can't blame an individual unless it's an executive order. So Trumpflation from tariffs is 100% on him. Having said that you can blame industry policy on successive governments. Best example in the US is the outrageous prices the government and individuals pay for pharmaceuticals. Deciding to not have a free market and pay extra is just crazy. Socialism gone mad.
1
@JudyStroyer-bk6fb Really, so rural areas are run by Democrats? We know a lot of illegal immigrants are farm workers.
1
@Dilettante13 so 10s of thousands of people being round up working for Republican voters and those businesses being fined the maximum but nobody has reported on the matter. Ok so believe what you can't see and don't believe what you did see like J6. That makes sense.
1
It's not the money it's the power.
1
Maybe they do but Trump's policies aren't designed to do that other than environmental deregulation allowing for destruction of the environment.
1
Big regarding the threat is inappropriate. If Trump follows through it will crash the economy.
1
But they actually voted for it. I don't know why they did, tax cuts for the wealthy and tax increases on middle and low income people through tariffs.
1
I know, it could be nerve racking wondering if a promotion is coming.
1
Some interesting things will occur. I am Australian and we (currently) have a solid free trade agreement with the US. While this remains the case Australian exports will be boosted to the US and cases of arbitrage might start occurring where for example we export let's say peanuts to the US and for arguments sake Mexico also produces peanuts and exports them to Australia. So in my example it could end up being somewhat inflationary to Australia at least so long as our free trade agreement isn't touched by Trump.
1
There's no mechanism for the US supreme court to do anything. There's only 2 ways the president can be removed and that's by the 25th amendment if his cabinet believes him to be mentally unfit , so that's not going to happen they are all loyalists or by impeachment with 2 thirds of the senate voting for his removal which won't happen any time soon and unlikely to happen because they appear to all be loyalists as well. All the supreme court or any court can do is stop things from from continuing to be unlawful after the fact.
1
Probably a similar reason Hitler was put on there. Not suggesting Trump is as bad as Hitler but he is definitely an agent of chaos threatening to tank the North American economy.
1
Israel first and then Russia, maybe a US third policy.
1
The answer to who the boss , it's Elon Musk. He's been annointed by Trump. Regardless who the security are whether they be government employees or private contractors they told to do a job and do or they will be fired, they are not breaking any law. This can actually occur in any country and Trump knows he can break as many civil laws as he wants if Republicans in the senate are ok with it and nothing will happen except court cases which take time. People often don't understand the difference between civil law and criminal law. All governments around the world breach civil law and politicians can't be held responsible except through the ballot box. It actually has to be this way because breaches in civil law are usually accidental. It's not the case with Trump but he still receives that universal protection.
1
You have to remember Trump is talking to his cult and they will believe him no matter what. Trump is not talking to regular people who know he's lying and Trump knows that most people don't believe him and he doesn't care.
1
Actually you do if you want to get a government job or a job with a government contractor in many states.
