  6. Let's say you got a kid in Junior high and he joins a sport, and it gets real hard and so he quits, then he joins another club and quits. It will be easier and easier for him to quit the next time and eventually he is just a quitter and never accomplishes anything. Same way for women and divorce, she bails out of one marriage for no real good reason and it will be much more likely she does it again.

  7. I have been happily married for close to 40 years but I would not recommend marriage to a younger man in the western world. Maybe in other parts of the world where people are not so decadent.

  11.  @namenotfound6881  Lots of men are cynical but its to be expected. Probably half or more of men on a channel like this had some horrible divorce story. While I agree with you in principle there is still something that every women must fight against and it comes after 7 to 10 years of marriage. It is the marriage FOMO. I have been married now 41 years to a wonderful woman who is also a Christian but she had that phase where she thought about leaving because life was boring. Gladly she didn't and now we are very happy.

And all of that does exist because I found a rare gem like that. But I feel sorry for younger men because it is nearly impossible to find that anymore.

  31. I can see all of that but I still think it is slightly better than in the USA simply because of the strong influence of the Catholic church and a strong tradition of family life whereas in the USA and Canada nearly all tradition has collapsed.

  45. I don't want to crap on a motivational message but it aint all about the rah rah cheerleading. In fact that stuff will easily leave your mind when you are weary and have to put up with a lot of garbage the world throws at you. What is most important is to HAVE A PLAN. You have to set your sights on long term goals and reasonable short term steps to get there. Write it down and refer to the plan from time to time to see where you are. It isn't about short term emotionalism, it is about running a long distance race.
