  7. Great review Alex. I don't see how you can go wrong between the Corolla, Civic, or Elantra. All are great cars. I would go Elantra N Line over the Corolla with the updated engine due to pricing. I will say, it doesn't sound like Alex has driven the Apex Corolla. I say this because anyome that has driven the Apex, knows its the harshest riding car you can buy today. The ruined the suspension on the Apex to feel worse than aftermarket Tein basic coilovers. Standard Corolla is a better car than the Apex. Not sure what Toyota was thinking.

  8. I can tell you from personal experience neither is fun to drive because of the CVT taking its time to talk to the engine. Plus its fwd based unlike a BMW Genesis, ect

  10. In defense of the X7s price tag, the XC90 is woefully Under powered with that 4 cylinder and the Audi Q7 is a minivan boring. It as well is a snoozfest. Merceds, BMW, and Lincoln are the true kings of this segmemt

  12. Mike Gee closed mindedness will only get you so far in life. Your choice is to go traditional for the badge on the hood. I think you missing out on saving some cash for was better driving dynamics but totally your choice. My opinion and your opinion vary. Let's just be thankful we have options still in this category. I will say the G37 was one of my favorite cars and no Idea what Nissan is currently trying to say what Infiniti is as a brand. Definitely not the reliable BMW brand it once had.

  13. Still fwd based and gets fwd spin in AWD guise. Just not luxury to me. Love the interior but hate the lack of buttons for climate control. Also have no idea why Alex is talking about the Regal wagon being American when it's a German vehicle (Opel) and also discontinued.

  17. Get a Grand Cherokee if you want off roading or get a Pilot if you want Honda. Passpprt is ppintless. The wheel gap to fender looks goofy. No one is taking this mom SUV off roading. Interior is dated as f thanks to the Pilot copy. This lazy effort I expected from GM but not Honda. Shameful

  20. I would argue the Genesis GV80 out does everything this MDX does and has much nicer interior than the piano black Acura specialty. I know you don't like to mention Genesis when reviewing other luxury vehicles but its the elephant in the room.

  23. The prior gen was released when info it I had exciting cars and was the reliable BMW alternative. This new one appears to be going mainly after fuel economy. I really miss the old Infiniti.

  24. You can't knock the 2020 Civic SI for its HP/Tq ratings when its 300lbs-400lbs (2,906lbs vs 3,298lbs) lighter than th Jetta GLI. That is a significant weight differemce. I really dislike it when you paint your own picture with picking certain facts just because you love its DCT. Theres more to sport sedans than just horsepower

  31. Not sure how Acura is on here but sure Acura RDX has no stand out feature or prowelness. The Volvo has an amazing interior and the Alfa is the best driving and fun to drive. RDX has the worst infotainment and interior. I guess it's here to keep the Honda fanboys happy

  37. I wouldn't want this fwd trash if it was a Toyota, let alone a "luxury" offering. CVT only, so slow, no touchscreen/track pad only is just bad. Very uncompetitive. I'd just wait for the Corolla Cross or even a Corolla hatch if you must have a Toyota

  48. Love the 2.5T engine in this. I would buy the Sorrento over the upcoming/current Sportage given its power and space. Very impressed. Love the colors inside as well. Interior, tech, and stopping distance is better than an MDX.

  49. Much prefer the exterior on the prior gen model which I felt was one of the best loking SUVs on the road. The carryover powertains are disappointing when coupled with the big price increase this new GC has received. Interior looks nice for the top trim only. Even on the top trim, all the cheap piano black plastic used upfront takes away slightly from the look.

  50.  Der Schwindel  even if its cheaper priced, the G70 has a superior interior with Napa leather, ect.. There is also a 10 year warranty that Cadillac dosent offer. Then there is the bigger rear seat in the G70 and the better/faster engine in the 3.3TT. Its okay though, we get that you are a GM fanboy. I also love that you up vote your own comments.
