ZeeFam wtf?

It's a shame VW couldn't give this the GTI engine for some movement. Get a 2019 before the warranty reverts back for the 2020 model year. Wouldn't touch a VW product without the extended long warranty for 2019 from Dieselgate
2
What a waste of money. Hilarious that the smaller E weighs more then the larger F Pace. Sad.
2
Trades46 I actually think the XC60 is the ultimate for interior among its class. Inpersonnits stunning. Acura is just at the level of Honda. It's so much better than the prior gen but Acura was so far behind honda
2
Paul, I think the reason the wagon died over here is there is no affordable or reliable option here. I'm not paying $50k for a family MB, BMW or Volvo wagon. The Golf wagon I would not buy a after the diesel scandal
2
Love this car! Sounds fantastic
2
Love this! Beautiful inside and out. Proper rwd based platform and a NA V8. This destroys the Lexus LS in my opinion. Way better tech, price and warranty. Love that they don't nickle and dime you on a million options. Impressed
2
Very nice car. Would only buy a 2019 though due to its warranty

John Grytbakk my toaster is dependable. Doesn't mean I want to drive it
2
@FamilyWheels I do.

Personally I don't care if Toyota takes there time on an update as long as that vehicle is class leading. The real issue i have with Toyota is Toyota charging the same price or in most cases, even more money than when it was introduced and literally nothing has changed. Nissan is good with handling a dated portfolio of vehicles. Although Nissan now claims they are not going to discount old vehicles so they will most likely tank. Toyota is much like GM of the 90s where it just has customers that blindly transition from one Toyota to the next, never shopping the market. They get rewarded for not updating ther vehicle. For example, they have had basically the same 3.5L V6 over 15 years. In 15 years of production I would hope you become efficient and reliable at building the same thing. They would be viewed much differently if theydont have ther e glory years of the 90s. Not much new has happened since then. Most of there cars are a partnership. They can't even develop there own sports car. Long winded so I apologize its just frustrating to watch a leader now become a follower at best

chris668899 I would agree with you there. Really the only negative is it's fwd roots. Other than that, I agree fully with your statement
2
satbir saggu its sad to me that you are so correct. In the 90s they were innovative and still reliable. I mean they built a mid engined car for under $45k. Now they need Subaru or BMW to make a car that is exciting
2
At that upper trim price I would personally try to scrap and save to get into an Acura RDX.
2
Ficon exactly money grab with zero effort
2
Paul, do you know how the early Volvo XC90s twin charged engines have held up? I can't believe that a turbo and supercharged 4 cylinder can be reliable for more than the warranty length. Curious if you've heard anything on this point?
2
Ficon thank you. That was my feelings as well but wanted to confirm with data. These really seem like a reliability nightmare, especially the T8 hybrid
2
Or you can save up your money like an adult.

Hyundai really took a step backwa with the new Elantra. The styling is quite unattractive now and looks like a triangle attack happened. Shame. The VW does inexpensive much better than Hyundai in the Jetta. That said I am not sure which would be more reliable between the two. Great review Scott. I am seeing more and more improvements each video
2
Prices of Mustangs are crazy high. Definelty no longer a car for the "everyday" man. I think Ford thinks that if they through a big LCD display inside, no one will notice how poor the interior is for the price
2
The mention the inrrerior being not the greatest but honestly, Toyota has never had great interiors. They know that the buyers of Toyota don't really cross shop, they just want the latest Toyota . Toyota tkds advantage of this and gets huge profits on ancient cars.
2
Honestly such a fantastic review. Really appreciate your honesty when pointing out areas where the competition is better or vice versa. It really helps when shopping. Thank you!
2
Gandrewjm great choice! Very nice car
2
If the Civic had this exterior, I would buy it

Great review Paul. Love it when you review fun to drive cars. Just makes it even more interesting. I'm was really let down by Mazda on this one. I had put money down for the 2.5L turbo at a local dealer. When they announced no manual transmission option on the turbo engine, I cancelled my order immediately. Mazda really isn't for the enthusiasts anymore. I love how everyone says but no one buys manuals, well they lost one sale here for not offering a manual transmission option. Mazda lost me for life. No longer the zoom zoom company. They promised a diesel, they promised Apple Carplay, I'm. It ho.ding my breath. I actually heard from my Mazda dealer they will charge you about $1k to retro fit Apple Carplay on this brand new model
2
@GoofieNewfie that was such a great car. Really wish Mazda would make a Speed version again. Everytime I see a 6 Mazda speed and its unique grill I smile.
2
Great work Paul as always. Love the honesty. Too bad about Mitsubishi and how rushed this car is. Price is crazy for this. Weak engine, poor CVT. The reason why the CRV engine is so much faster is because Honda stated hp and tq at the wheels and not the crank. German like
2
Shawn B reliability. They last at most 2 years
2
Family Wheels Paul I totally agree. Also love that all your cars are affordable. It actually makes your picks very relevant and informative. Yes I feel the 2L turbo engine should be an option on all Subaru products. The Goll Alltrack would be my pick for that reason as it has a turbo for the same price. Great job as always
2
Kia Stinger and it's RWD over this bland Audi. I don't see the benefit of paying more for a less dynamic drive. The touch points are extremely solid in the Audi. I think Stinger if you actually like driving and an A5 if you think you like driving but really don't understand anything about dynamics
2
This was such an amazing review @Family Wheels. Love your sports car test. Great work! I have a Genesis Coupe and my little guy has loved it since 2 years old (now 7). It's great to be able to not punish yourself for having kids and they are still comfortable.
2
These videos feel like advertisements. I miss Paul. I'm sorry but CVT is not luxury. Not in the least. Engine is great in it but the CVT was so noisy and annoying. Maybe fora Nissan it works
2
Most uncomfortable seats I've ever sat in and I've driven a Model T. Interior is cost cut to death. Typical Chevy horrible plastics and build qaulity. Could not drive this car if it was $20k, let alone it's actual price. Kona is a superior product
2
I just really hope Honda isn't paying anyone for the designing of the exterior on this and the Civic Type R
2
Michael Davis go Honda Accord please. At least it won't be slow as sin as any Subaru
2
Just don't say "Mercedes". Too much tech for me. I'd get an A3 personally as I love the design way more than Mercedes melted blog styling. I've driven this A220 and found the VR navigation arrows a great idea that were executed poorly. They come on the screen too late {500ft or less) to be useful to me. Shame
2
No lsd on a car with 400hp is a bit ridiculous. THE G35 with 287hp had a lsd standard. Ancient tech inside is a huge let down. Not sure how you dont mention it doesnt have Android Auto or Apple Carplay in a review. Transmission was also a huge letdown for me when I drove it. I guess i ahould just be happy it isnt a cvt that they have been forcing on everyone. Infiniti has really fell off from a luxury brand . Too many corners cut
2
Family Wheels it would get recalled before it ever got to you
1
The interior dash on this looks like it was lifted directly from The Ford conterpart. Immediate no buy
1
So dumb that they never did what the Mazda Miata and Fiat 124 did. Similar chassis but different drivetrains. Toyota always mails it in.
1
Amazing review! Really agree with your insights
1
I love the smaller size and top trim engine. Can't wait to see the interface. Too bad this is so expensive
1
Just realized the Mazda CX9 has a more luxurious interior than this Honda
1
Family Wheels I really feel Acura has been passed by in the luxury market. I've noticed even their leather is not as nice as the competition. I applaud them for their reliability but wish they would up the luxury quota. They seem like such a lost brand that is between sporty an luxury but compromises at both. The CX9 seems to somehow pull this off better for far less.
1
Jon S ugh no
1
Fantastic review Paul! It's surprising to me that the two American luxury SUV offerings are so terrible compared to the other luxury offerings. Biggest market for SUVs and they fluff it.
1
Would love to see your take on the new Hyundai Elantra Sport
1
Family Wheels amazing! Thank you
1
The 3 hatch has a better quality interior and engine as well. I don't get the cx3 unless you are a woman or a confused boy
1
The nine speed makes any engine choice feel slow here. Vehicle is good but the nine speed ruins it
