It only needs a few western deaths, and the west's courage runs out, and they will not have the stomach to fight Russia. It shows the mess in western and NATO foreign policy. That was self evident from NATO's cowardly scramble from Kabul.

Ukraine can continue seeking NATO aid and see itself destroyed and turned into a wasteland like Libya. Afterwards, when the west cannot afford it, new politicians will come and the west will abandon it like Afghanistan and Iraq. There will be Melonis and Trumps asking why they should waste their money.

  23.  @navinkumar6388  Very simple and correct counter to western duplicity. Westerners have this simple view of 'innocent Ukraine got attacked by a bully'. The western discourse typically starts with an exculpatory statement of an 'unprovoked attack on a sovereign state'. They announce their starting premise as if it should be self understood, and from there on, Ukraine and west are 100% innocent, and neither has responsibility for the situation. The Ukranian politicians deliberately chose to flout the condition of neutrality cited in Ukraine's declaration of independence, thinking NATO will protect them. The western govt. plotters also knew what they were doing by trying to induct Ukraine into NATO, but they thought they could continue without consequences as they had got away with 5 waves of expansion.

  27. Russia never announced any spring offensive, the west announced it. And now the interpretation is the Russians do not have the steam. Sky says 30,000 Russians were killed in Bakhmut - what is the evidence ? And they do not say how many Ukranians were killed. Ukrainians are on the ropes in Bakhmut, but Sky says Ukrainians are fixing the Russians in Bakhmut ! From March 2022, the west said the Russians had run out of officers and generals, and then soldiers; and out of missiles, and they are left with shovels. In the early months, they said Putin had a mysterious illness, he had a had hand tremor, he was about to be assasinated.... We cannot take the western media seriously.....

  29. The lady is subtly provocative - as a news anchor should be ! She is the best western anchor I have seen, always probing behind the western propaganda about Ukrainians winning and the Russians losing. She starts by mentioning the Ukrainian ambassador sounded weary - meaning not confident this spring offensive will go well. The 'expert' sort of acknowledges. When she asks whether the Russian casualties the US cites are credible (she does not think it is), the expert says it is the best estimate the west has. Then he adds that the Russians are taking 6 killed in Bakhmut for every Ukrainian. Where is this figure from ? Is it credible when the Russians fire 10 shells for every Ukranian one (by Ukranian and western admission) ? He claims it was Ukraine's strategy to attrition Russia in Bakhmut so the Russians do not have people left against the Ukrainian counter offensive. There is no mention the Ukranians were heavily attritioned as well, in fact more so, and this weakens their counter offensive prospects. The fact is the Russians have somehow taken Soledar and pushed the Ukranians out of Bakhmut, using shovels according to the great British intelligence. This is a sore point for the west. The side that feels defeated always puts out wild propaganda. The Russians are hitting the Ukranians hard like the ammo dump in Pavlograd, so that the Ukrainian counter offensive is still born. There is no point of talking about how F 16 s will turn matters for Ukraine when there is no chance they will have them. It is like the Germans saying they will build a tank factory in Ukraine ! According to NATO, Ukraine has 98% of what is needed. They have to now show Return on Investment as some politicians colourfully put it. The fact is Russia has the artillery shells, the missiles, and all the other machinery to continue, compared with Ukraine and the west. The Russians have beaten the west in the economic warfare as well, and further their actions have started the de-industrialisation of Europe and de-dollarisation. It is embarrassing for the west that the world sees that 50 nations cannot match Russia in military or economic warfare. Could there be a bigger blow to western self esteem and feeling of superiority ? Mighty Russia has punctured their ego ! Hence, all the weak propaganda.

  38. Where is the Ukranian counter offensive ? Is it in Bakhmut ? They pushed aside an encirclement, so is that the achievement ? As for the Russian airstrikes, what happened to the western air defence system ? All we hear is Ukraine shot down many missiles and then we see pictures of fires. Russia was supposed to have run out of missiles in May 2022. Can the western liars come out with more credible lies ?

But the superior western weapons like Leopards, Bradleys and Patriots got burnt, and they have told the Ukranians not to deploy the Challengers at the front line ! The Ukranians are not succeeding with them and their counter offensive is such a flop that the US vetoed the admission of Ukraine into NATO. Return the nukes, don't join any military alliance against Russia, allow Russian navy to use Sevastopol in the Crimea. Ukraine wanted to renege on item 2 which would have led to reneging on item 3. Due to these reasons, Russia has cancelled Ukraine's independence.

But Ukraine sent 5000 soldiers to Afghanistan when it was not even in NATO, it had not qualms to invade another country then; therefore, the Ukranians deserve the beating they are getting. Russia should break it up piece by piece and take it back. Ukraine can have peace only when it signs up for neutrality.

  46. The intelligence officer is trying hard to put a positive spin. Ukranians tried an offensive in Kherson but it was beaten back with severe losses to the Ukranians. This where the professional Russian forces were concentrated. So now the Ukranians are thinking what to do in the south - operation pause according this fellow ! The west has made mountains out of molehills and talked as if Ukraine was going to recapture Crimea next week. That is not happening, Donbass and Kherson are going to be incorporated back in Russia. Ukraine will have to adjust to the reality.

  48. The Kursk operation was not secret to the UK and US, they were the planners for it. Now that Ukraine is trapped in Kursk unable to go forward or back off, and is advancing in Russia Donbass, the US and UK will now say they are not responsible, did not know about it ! This joker Bell is the one who said Russia was reduced to fighting in Bakhmut with shovels. Gen. Patraeus, an enthusiast for the war said with the Kursk operation, the idea was to force Russia to negotiate. He said western strategy is to force Russia to ceasefire and negotiate and then get Ukraine or what remains of it into the EU and make it a free market economy ! But see the confusion of the western mind. For the 2023 counter offensive, Patraeus said the aim was to drive Russia out of Crimea. That failed, so he is talking about negotiating now, so that some bit of Ukraine can be saved and rearmed to fight. Russia is not dumb like westerners, it is not going to accept that. Russia does no want to negotiate. When Russia agreed to negotiate with Zelenksy in Istanbul and reached an agreement, Boris Johnson and Biden ordered Zelensky to keep fighting. Ukraine at that time had the best bargaining prospects. Now Russia has the advantage (even Kursk has turned out to be an advantage as it keeps Ukraine's forces pinned), and is moving fast in the Donbass. None of the western schemes will work.
