  5. Champions league entry takes Newcastle onto a whole other level. More income meaning increased revenue to spend more, and pay more wages, and it also means they can attract higher level players. Obviously winning a trophy is nice, but in order to truly compete champions league football is a must.

  21. Class act. I took a sabbatical post 9 years of working in consultancy, in order to do charitable work. I'm now registered for multiple volunteering jobs with tower hamlets council, and also help the elderly with their pets through the cinnamon trust. Everyday is wonderful when helping those who need my help, and it makes me even more upset that I gave away so many years running after money and bonuses. There is truly nothing more rewarding in life than helping those in need.

  50. Football fans only care about these numbers, when the players don't perform. Otherwise, they're more than happy to turn a blind eye. For example. Chelsea are owned by a former thief. Man City are owned by a country with an atrocious human rights record and experts at money laundering. But you don't hear their fans complaining or the premier league causing an issue as long as the money comes in.
