It also tends to go hand in hand with social progressivism and the destruction of old traditions that are seen as outdated, but it’s not a requirement. Conservatism is about conserving traditional aspects of a culture, including gender norms, religion, and government. As such it’s generally antithetical to what most anarchists actually believe.

And Russia doesn’t control all of the Donbas either, and are being pushed back on that front by the Ukrainians. And no Ukraine will exist regardless. Even if Russia “wins” their territorial gains will be minor. And no Ukraine controls Kyiv. NATO isn’t in this war.
