Doesn’t change the fact that 1: That Germany doesn’t actually have that many resources within their borders, hence the drive for expansion 2: That the enemies that the Nazis would’ve fought would still have been far greater economically and industrially. The Nazis didn’t lose because they didn’t have enough wonder weapons, they lost because they over extended themselves fighting to many enemies that had more resources than they did.

  45. King of kings. Lord of lords. It makes perfect sense to do the conversion. They had access to .30-06, and probably plenty of American supplied weapons already chambered for it, so why not make it easier to supply most of your rifles using that same ammunition as well?
