The Canadian peso is going down fast. If the Euro maintains parity with the US dollar, you are not going to be able to sell European cars in Canada without massive subsides. Which could trigger something much worse.
1
Not so fast, XiXi. The tariffs on China from the US are still going into effect. So that market is gone for now. If you think that the EU is going to become your newest big customer right as they need to re-industrialize and collect taxes more than ever, you are living in a dreamland. Forget about Russia, forget about India, they have their own mouths to feed. The way it looks at them moment, China is going to lose out bad and end up trying to sell garbage to Africa and South America, who are going to wise up soon and start concentrating on their own economies. The best outcome for China in this is to reach an agreement with the USA that keeps the market open while giving both sides what they need.

Cannabliss Edibles Prednisone don’t do that which he looks like. The steroids make one look like a blimp version of themselves, whereas this version of KFC Jong Un is just rotund.
1
@cw9282 Russia and China and even Iran have placed naval forces just offshore from the continental US, so your argument is invalid.
1
The UN is dead. Don't be shocked if Trump orders it removed from NY.
1
The national budgets of most EU member states are so top loaded with social spending and entitlement programs that a huge expenditure on a military with a a defensive posture is not a realistic option. No EU leader is going to want to try to explain to the population that they cannot have their medical care or retirement plan simply because “the Americans walked off the job and now we have to pick up the slack.” This is not sustainable, and any movement by Russia will clarify it.
1
Kristie Wang The weapons are overpriced. However, you also need people to fire them, which you do not have at the present.
1
@davidlundquist Except firearms. The Russian made ones are in high demand because they are cheap and easy to maintain.
1
@martinstock You do realize US farmers have been getting away with murder on the US public, right? The thought of US farmers having to dial it back is music to Americans ears. The more US farmers go under, the more the conglomerate farm companies can buy up and restore the market. Win-win.
1
@OpurbaSikdar The US has been giving money unrestrained to these nations in the past. They all have been sucking the teat, but don't help out their own brothers in time of need. They cannot be trusted.
1
All good unless US invades Mexico. After that, NAFTA is dead.
1
Canada is a bigger source of illegals into the US because of the porous border and the lax immigration that Canada has for itself. Everyone abroad knows that if you can get into Canada, you can get into the US.
1
malcolm chaffer Is there any chance that smoking has to do with this? Word in the USA is that smokers are at highest risk of mortality if they catch it due to poor lung conditions to begin with.
1
Fred Midtgaard Europe is busy at the moment. Their gender studies class has them riveted at this time.
1
@andreahalim191 Even China Uncensored has more believability than what you are saying. Tell me, have you been there?
1
It should have been on its own all along. NATO was a mistake, US support was a mistake.
1
@nextentrepreneur9288 Can we have free healthcare now that we aren't going to be spending on the Europeans? Can we have some high speed trains too, like the Europeans have been bragging about for years?
1
@madsiraver You are about to pay even more. Hope you enjoy it.
1
There is a good reason why Greeks and Spaniards call it the forth reich.
1
@andreinastase1604 Honestly, the Polish Lithuanian commonwealth should never have been dismantled.
1
The Americans cannot be the only ones punting the bill for the war. If the EU is not willing to do what is needed to save Ukraine, then why should an American give the support that they don't want to? This is Europes backyard, not the Americans.
1
@kalindushihara3259 But they can afford to give absurd health care programs and high speed rail toys to their citizens while Americans foot their military expenses and get zero in return? All I can say to that is Trump 2024 and US out of NATO.
1
@RustedCroaker If Mustachio der Grosse had not gone and invaded the USSR, things would have been very different.
1
There are people in Poland and Egypt who would beg to differ...
1
Yo taxes about to go up through da roof, mang. Los gringos Americanos no quiren pagar no mas.
1
Inhumane attitude? Why is it the Americans responsibility to clean up a mess in Europe's backyard? You are 500 million people asking 300 million to defend you from 140 million.
1
If he snuggles up to China and midwestern states start feeling pain because of it, he will be a one term president and Trump Jr will take the presidency in 2024. Biden is stuck with a nightmare dilemma. Embrace China and concentrate on the urban areas and lose in 2024 or pay attention to the Pennsylvanias of the world and maybe squeak out a win in 2024 in spite of his age.
1
@WillieFungo Indeed. Europe has been a shamelessly unfaithful partner for America, and finally the chickens have come home to roost and the divorce papers are being written up.
1
@BigVZ When is your next pogrom?
1
If they really wanted the US involved, they wouldn't have laughed when Trump asked them to sell Greenland.
1
@guavaguy4397 They won't. And then if Denmark refuses to come to the table, the USA will not deal with it either. Putin will have tanks on the border of Poland faster than you know.
1
@gregmiller4387 Russia/Soviet Union has historically created the messes, the USA has historically gotten stuck with cleaning them up. Nobody asked or forced them to stick their noses into SE Asia, Latin America, the Caribbean, Africa, etc. Creating mafioso type governments around the world tends to get you noticed in a bad way, and sometimes the messes you make have to be cleaned up. Even the PRC recognized this in the early 1970s, which explains why they changed diplomatic tactic and now are far more successful in the world than the drunk bear could ever have dreamed.
1
@gregmiller4387 Lol, China has not fought a war in ages because they learned fast that wars are expensive. Unless you have your whole population committed to the task, it’s going to cost you.
1
@gregmiller4387 Chinese don’t use war to achieve their aims. They just swindle other nations into debt then demand natural resources as compensation.
1
How strange is it that China worked so hard to get Biden elected, and now turns on him? Every new puppy has to be disciplined by its new master.
1
@furryrupert3739 Where else do you do stand up comedy at?
1
Americans and Russians stared across the European abyss for decades with distrust and fear in them, and it was all for nothing.
1
Faraday helmet.
1
They spent the money they saved by not paying for defense on high speed trains and pensions.
1
@WannabeShady90 ICE is recent. Have you been on them?
1
@ The US has been fooled by that line so many times over the decades, it is sad. We got snookered by the Pakistanis in the early 1980s into giving weapons to the Mujahadeen in Afghanistan because "America will be threatened." Guess what that led to?
1
TDS is going to ruin Europe.
1
@James-lt3so Where on earth are they going to sell them? If you think that China and Europe are going to magically agree to allow Canadian built auto imports, you are fantasizing. There are some African nations that might be interested in it, but everyone else is going to circle the wagons and say "no thanks, we've got our own."
1
@qavoc The urban whites and Hollywood elites are with Z. The rest of America doesn’t give a rip.
1
@alerausm Get with the present, not the fading past.
1
True. Everything about the metric system works easier except for temperature. Celsius is nonsense.
1
@AORD72 That’s good and fine if you’re a chemist or a chef, but what about regular weather usage? 0 is cold, 35 is hot. Ok, where is warm? 15. So there’s only 15 degrees from freezing to an average temperature day, but 20 degrees from warm to hot. This makes for poor weather/temp forecasting.
1
@geoeconomics5629 37 degrees of temperature is nowhere near enough to describe a scale of feeling for humans. 37 C is a commonplace temperature in many parts of the world, yet does not convey its meaning very well.
1
@AORD72 And 25?
1
@jama5191 I know. Like I said, great for industrial or science purposes but lousy for describing a mid morning temperature increase.
