  1. He's horrific. Tough to see anything redeeming about him, but I'm still against the death penalty. It's not a deterrent - just look at Texas and Florida. But that's not why. Since I'm clearly in the minority in this comment section, I do want to add that I understand the vengeance felt towards him. But killing more... isn't how how healing happens. Rest in peace, Grizelda and precious Dominic.

  2. It's just an opinion, of course, but Allen saying his confession is coerced seems fake and opportunis. The only way he can argue it will be if he takes the stand. Otherwise it's just something that comes out of a lawyer's mouth.

  3. He's being afforded due process - and with the advantages of wealth, he's got the best attorneys and a head start on freedom that lasted for decades. The hyperbole of the word 'ly*ching' is despicable. He's not a hero to anyone, nor a martyr. May his victims see justice.

I believe Baldwin was overcharged as a player in Halyna's death. He's liable a producer for the hire, but I am unclear as to those laws. Hannah is culpable. It's not about her prop cart being a mess, but that says a lot about how seriously she didn't take her work. Rest in peace, Halyna

Look, like almost everyone else, I'm over Sarah Boone, but think it's terrific that she's getting representation for her trial. I still think there's going to be appellate issues, but probably none she'll win. (Especially going with the battered spouse defense... not in this case.)

  50. That's how I feel. Those of us who have survived real DV see enough violence go unpunished for any number of reasons: it's too important an issue to be used falsely. (And that band of supporters in Free the Ballerina couture was a bit much.) Paz y luz
