I hope so. Juries have a way of getting it right, but these prosecutors seem like they're on the case...so far.

You might check your wording, please... Think you meant 'innocent until proven guilty'.
4
More people will listen if you just speak without shrieking.
4
Become of something called 'due process': everyone's right to a defense is Constitutionally protected. 😂
4
Like digging up Rip Van Winkle after his second burial.
4
The lawyer can't be put in the position to evoke lies: that was one possible explanation I heard based on the Ruben case in FL.
4
Shriek more. 🤦
4
😂
4
It's the least important aspect of any of this. (Tattling?)
4
It's still up on his channel. Check Live and Video sections. He isn't the coward as some are trying to have others believe.
4
The same way all those people went to prison for Jan 6 when someone else instigated it? Right.
4
Their.
4
Get. A. Life.😂
4
Think of the other cruel parents who are battening down the hatches so their kids can't escape. A nightmare. I'm grateful and so sorry for the neighbor.

Fwiw, I'm a survivor of extreme DV. But my husband's second wife wasn't as fortunate: she didn't make it out of their relationship alive and their two very young sons lost their mom. Fwiw, a cop was a huge influence in my decision to leave. I was in ER - again - getting stitches, and he painted a picture of what life would be like if I stayed. (He'd seen the worst of DV in his 20-odd years on the force.) A few years later, after I'd built a life for myself and was in my dream career, I found him to tell him how grateful I was. Just wish that Ana had someone like that - a warning that could've made a difference. Rest in peace.

@TheRight-handedStranger Great comment. 💯 Thank you for balanced remarks in a sea of emotion. Compared to a lot of other cases, this schedule is very reasonable. I'm not sure people are checking into what's involved with a complicated murder case. (Giddy, high strung reportage doesn't help either. And Court TV has too much of that lately.) Like most others, I think B.K. is guilty. But the state needs to put on the best case it can: that can't happen in rushed circumstances. Maybe I won't feel this frustrated if I stop looking at comments from people who have no notion of American jurisprudence - ones who want instant death, etc. 🤦 Take care and blessings to all.

She's conniving, but not particularly intelligent... not the best combo.
4
He'll write a book.
4
That judge's commanding baritone delivering righteous words. Yesss. Starting out on the right foot. (Biased commentary, of course.) This was the most powerful bond hearing I've seen tho I've read some scary federal ones w/terrorists etc.
4
 @sctrevor 💯
4
You called it.
4
Great comment. As a sober addict/alcoholic, it's disturbing to see folks blame chemicals for their actions vs taking any responsibility. Sure, we're likely to behave differently and sometimes in ugly ways, but the manifestation of violence resulting in death is next level: legal repercussions are required.
4
Batman, you may feel differently once you're in seventh grade.
4
@Cassster Donna's lack of compunction re: murdering her grandchildren's father puts her in the pantheon of Roman women who backed Caesars. Hoping they can at least find some kind of charge against her.
4
@princessbuttercup5928 Same. The audio was played during a news report: I'll never forget the terror and hopelessness in his voice. SB's due process is important, but - in the end - here's to Jorge Torres' loved ones getting full justice.
4
Ryan, lay off the self-trepanning, bruh. It's starting to smooth thy cerebral surfaces.
4
Judge saying what we've all been thinking.
4
@sunnyboknow I got news of a death from a cop and burst into tears immediately: how do you know that doesn't happen? I think Wendi is complicit, but presuming folks' reactions is disingenuous.
4
The kind of comment from a proud graduate of the 9th grade.
4
What a Karen. 100% 😂
4
What you want and what's legal are worlds apart, unfortunately.
4
Imma git me that Spir-o-Graph salon look on Monday, chicas. It must be done.
4
@Juke582 Witless appraisals notwithstanding, she's alcoholic. It's very different from what you're describing. (Like you've ever seen a DSM-5.)
4
It continues in corporations, religious circles, etc etc. They all close ranks.
4
This is horrific. All of it.
4
They charged her with a federal crime - murder for hire - and that's the prison they use for that federal jurisdiction.
4
Her appeals won't be as likely to go through this way.
4
He's turned into Barnum & Bailey of legal news networks. But that's what rakes in the numbers.
4
😂😂
4
@moomyung9231 The tragedy/tsunami of Dunning-Kruger in the US is next level now.
4
Great question. Children are the one thing that should never 'fall through the cracks'.
4
Court TV is the pro wrestling of legal news platforms.
4
I try not to be that shallow, but, man it's hard to ignore.
4
Why bring the gun? That says everything.
4
@MaddHeather I hope so, Heather. This seems like a situation that requires monitoring - even though Rudy's an adult, perhaps his disability makes him eligible for oversight. Peace.
4
You're right. I can see the defense atty grilling Flores, but Martinez was just a jerk for the sake of being one. Tbh, I'm glad he was disbarred. Little man was a disgrace.
4
I sympathize with her - especially if she's not in recovery yet. Hope she can find a way to do get clean.
4
@MrC9Oh3 If you read her other comments... yikes. Let's just say they need to make Superglue for people: some have cracks down the middle.
4
Both possibilities exist.
