@TheDrAstrov Russia violated the Minsk agreements on day one. They were supposed to remove their forces from the Donbas and withdraw support for the rebels, they did neither. Of course there would be no Minsk agreement if Russia hadn't violated the Budapest memorandum.

@Erro87 Ukraine is fighting Russia alone. Also I was responding to a comment about Afghanistan so your comment doesn't even make sense.

@Jimmy-ye3wg Sure sure, that's why you have Putin tramping around Pyongyang and Tehran for weapons and personnel. Half of all the ordinance fired by Russia this year is from NK, despite that Russia's fire advantage has been reduced from 10-1 to 3-1. And that is mostly in the form of innacurate shells that are just as likely to explode in the barrel, Ukraine still has the advantage in effective/accurate fire. And Putin is also demonstrating he has abundant manpower by begging Kim to send forces to help.

@richardsanders4624 The former "people's governor" of Donbas, leader of the Donetsk separatists and Russian collaborator Pavel Gubarev said that Russia has suffered enormous losses amounted to 700 thousand.
10
It went from Tanks & IFV's to Mad Max MTLB's, after that it was Scooby Doo vans, then golf carts and dirt bikes. Now onto scooters, soon they'll be advancing in donkey carts.
10
@julianf9235 Oh that conspiracy. Folks repeating the claim have missed some important context from Nuland’s speech. Nuland was talking about money given since Ukraine broke away from the Soviet Union. The insinuation that the United States incited the people of Ukraine to riot or rebel is patently false.

@briancarno8837 Russia has been openly using the civilian airports in the area for military use. This makes them valid military targets. There is also Chkalovsky air base, which is explicitly a military airport.

A counter weight is fired out the back.

@AndrewRus876 Finland has an almost million man army and Sweden has one of the most advanced military industries on earth and punches well above its weight militarily. Both also occupy strategic positions in the Baltic.
9
@richardsanders4624 Ukrainian estimates of Russian losses are similar to those provided by senior Western officials, who estimate Russia has suffered around 800,000 casualties.
9
@ellismail7196 Hey more pointless whataboutisms, what a surprise.
9
@pauldean8638 There isn't a map on earth that suggests otherwise. Its time to rejoin reality bud.
9
@justinmccarthy-z5c What a strange comment.
9
@UkraineNeeds Leopard losses are still single digit, meanwhile Russia has lost thousands of tanks and cant even take the Donbas.
9
@julianf9235 Also it wasn't a coup, it was a protest movement. It would be the only successful coup in human history that ended with the same government it started with. What happened was Yanukovich was voted out by 100% of parliament, including his own party when he tried to back out of the EU deal. His refusal to compromise led to the protests, he could have just called an election though, instead he fled the country.
9
@Jeroen_Maes Sorry no, that's the most idiotic thing I've ever heard.
9
@I_Love_Lord Imagine if the US invaded Mexico. Then after close to two years of WW1 attrition warfare and six figure casualties the US only controlled 15% of Mexico. After losing over half of the territory they once occupied, and were losing in the Gulf of Mexico and was forced to retreat its navy as far away from Mexico as they could. and said something like; "Its an ongoing war. Winning and losing will be determined once the war is over." Would that be something you take serious? Or would you get second hand embarrassment from reading something so dumb?
8
@Jimmy-ye3wg Trump also said Russia was a "weakened state right now, one because of Ukraine and a bad economy."
8
WLADIMIR0809 Its why Russia is taking catastrophic casualties for almost no gain.
8
What's the other side of driving a tank into a hole and abandoning it?
8
@erikn.8626 Everything I said is true, dry your eyes.
8
@Zero4Infinitives The US took Iraq and Afghanistan in a couple weeks, after that was occupation. Russia cant even get to the occupation stage.
8
Ukraine didn't invade themselves bud, this is all on Russia.
8
@ttexastt Yeah, they're advancing east all the way to Moscow.
8
oil prices are lower now than in 2022.
7
@I_Love_Lord It resulted in a Taliban victory over the Afghan government. The US wasn't trying to occupy Afghanistan until the end of time, there hadn't been an attack on coalition forces for years. They just left. Its like saying that because Germany is now hostile to Russia and supplying Ukraine with weapons that Russia somehow lost WW2.
7
@Arthav-o4r Russia's been parked outside Avdiivka for nine years bud, its time to face realilty.
7
@Ayan77alekseev NATO isn't fighting Russia. Its Ukraine using 5% of NATO's annual budget, mostly in the form of old stock. Russia is receiving aid from Belarus, North Korea, Iran, China, India and parts of Africa. By your logic Ukraine is fighting 3/4 of the worlds population.
7
@mariaadelecagna3540 Would weak mean not even being able to take the Donbas despite it being half a days drive from Moscow?
7
@Johnyazell-r2f Which is irrelevent to the point he was making, which was the Germans had taken most of Europe by '42 and still lost. Meanwhile Russia is three years in and still can't even capture the Donbas.
7
@WarAuthority Closer to 20%, which is the same amount they had taken two and a half years ago. Most of which was taken in the opening days of the invasion prior to lines being established and Ukraine mobilizing. They've taken almost nothing since.
7
@d2nd21st Russia says they need them, obviously. Ukraine also hasn't spent the past 30 years stroking themselves off as a supposed superpower.
7
@Beppe-bt2sn Want to try again in English?
7
@Beppe-bt2sn You are completely incoherent bud.
7
@mattyboy59 Why are you spamming the same idiotic comments over and over?
7
@richardsanders4624 The mayor of Moscow said 600,000 wounded Russians, this doesn't include KIA.
7
Children's hospitals and maternity wards on high alert.
7
@Bruvva_Wu At least Trudeau can be voted out, Putin is leader for life.
7
@Stronger5386 The whole world isn't fighting Russia. Is that what they tell you on Russian tv?
6
Has Russia retaken Kursk?
6
@fingerprint8479 The Soviets had ten times the losses and their entire country collapsed. But yeah they were super smart.
6
@fingerprint8479 There is a difference between leaving and losing. The Americans left, the Russians lost so hard their entire Empire fell apart.
6
@WagnerWithShovels The Russian tank crews that were detonated weren't having a fun time.
6
@Beppe-bt2sn Nobody asked your opinion either, try not to cry ok.
6
@Beppe-bt2sn What?
6
* Russia has retaken around 40% of Kursk, this number has remained unchanged for months * Russia continues to make marginal gains in exchange for horrific losses. * Russia can't even take the Donbas, the thought of them fighting NATO is laughable. And no NATO isn't in Ukraine.
6
@Ken-er9cq True, they are the masters of doublespeak.
6
Marginal gains. As of the end of December 2024, Russia occupied 18.14% (+0.07%) of Ukraine, which is about what it occupied 2.5 years ago. Including Crimea and the areas of Donetsk most of which were occupied in 2014 and the opening days of the 2022 invasion. Since then Russia has occupied next to nothing.
6
Some people still think one day you'll post a different comment. But every day you show up and post the same silly one.
6
@ As of the end of December 2024, Russia occupied 18.14% (+0.07%) of Ukraine. Almost all of that was taken in 2014 or the opening days of 2022, gains since have been marginal at best.
