  8. Michael Bern Murdering three Irish police officers is in no way PETTY. The facts show that Kelly did not care about his family, leaving them to live in poverty after robbing banks of a huge amount of money. His sisters were seen in Benalla dressed in rags, and it was a police officer who saw their plight and raised money for them so they could have decent clothes and food.

Read the papers from 1880 when Kelly was finally brought to heel at Glenrowan and see what they said about this vicious stand-over thug. I am only presenting facts that show that what you are listening to here and in other places on YT and Facebook is fictitious and have been maliciously promoted as truth when they are lying to the public. When you find people like the narrator here repeating the myths, it needs to be corrected in the interests of TRUE history. Don't you agree?   12. @Go-your-own-way Your comment is so wrong. Firstly, 82% of the police in Victoria were Irish. The Royal Commission found the Kelly's were NOT harassed as they claimed. Kelly was found a good job by the police and given money to go to that job. He refused and turned to a life of crime. He made that decision himself. He was not forced into anything. Do you think that Kelly putting the barrel of his revolver into the mouth of a man who stood up to him at Faithfull's Creek threatening to shoot him dead was 'charming'? Kelly was a vicious low life, as the facts show, but they have been hidden by Kelly fans who have written books full of lies.

I challenge you to present any evidence you have to support what you have stated. In the Royal Commission into Victoria police of 1881 the word corrupt does not appear once. You can be assured that I was responsible for that. That will be completed by June 2022. The Victoria State Library has also removed their Kelly fiction, and that too is being rewritten by a professional historian with all the myths removed. Guess who made that happen too? There are many more to come, but the tide is turning and truth is winning. The garbage that is presented on this and other sites is a disgrace to this nation and especially to the children of this nation, when a vicious stand-over, murderous thug is lauded. Don't tell me there is nothing I can do about it, as I am already succeeding in getting the rubbish removed.

If you claim I am wrong, please present evidence of this occurring? By the way, Constable Fitzpatrick did not need a warrant in hand to arrest Dan Kelly for horse stealing. That situation is the same today. Police do not need a warrant in hand to arrest someone if a warrant exists.

  43.  @NODnuke45  Then can you explain to us why 80% of the settlers in the Greta, Moyhu, Benalla areas made a go of it on the land. They had to contend with the Kelly scourge, fires, drought etc. yet they succeeded and progressed well. Look at James Whitty, who came from Ireland illiterate and penniless. He worked hard and made serious money and grew his property empire and assisted many poor. So don't tell me the government taxed too heavily. Obviously, you don't know that two of the first Premiers of Victoria were in fact IRISH.

  45.  @Lamedvavnik  You have no idea. Two of the early premiers in Victoria were Irish. 82% of the police in Victoria were Irish. The government enacted legislation that took back the land squatters had taken and granted it on excellent terms to poor settlers. 80% of those settlers made a go of it on their land. Ned Kelly stood only for Ned Kelly and his thieving ways, and he objected strongly to anyone trying to bring his criminal behaviours to an end.

  48.  @Lamedvavnik  If you think Ned Kelly was popular, you are misinformed. Most of the people in NE Victoria were glad to see the end of his criminal reign. Of the 14,500 people there only about 250 supported Kelly, and they were mostly family, and extended family relatives and criminal types. It is clear you have been following rubbish written by Kelly fans.
