@nobblkpraetorian5623 NO, because the story was all made up nonsense.
1
@poshboy4749 Get real Poshboy. None of them are National Heroes. They were all serious criminals and deserve to be discarded by society.
1
Brenton Abbot was responsible for between 40-50 bank robberies across Australia. He deserves to die in prison. He has broken out of prison twice and on the last occasion fired at prison guards and police. He is a serious criminal just like Kelly was.
1
b4rbaric Nothing in this video is factual. It's all a load of garbage.
1
@diamondwarrior2003 The authorities were NOT tyrants, as you claim. Where did you dream up that nonsense from?
1
@jlord9638 Murderers do not qualify as hero's.
1
@extrahistory What a pity you didn't read the facts instead of presenting the fiction you presented in this video.
1
@alexolas1246 NO, the majority of the people in the towns and in the country relied on the police to protect them from the criminality of the Kelly's. Most police were well respected in their communities
1
@gregoryharvey5198 RUBBISH. The towns folk despised Kelly and his mob of thieves, as they thieved from them whenever they could, often taking the only horse the poor settlers had. The vast majority of the population in North East Victoria, some 14,500 people opposed Kelly. The sympathisers numbering about 200 were pro Kelly.
1
@draco84oz Ned Kelly was just a serious criminal. The vast majority of the people despised Kelly and his criminal actions that effected them so detrimentally. Kelly was a criminal. The Eureka Stockade was an uprising about government charges, nothing more nothing less.
1
@hanssmirnov9946 Very few. Most were free settlers.
1
@Rob749s Don't talk rubbish Rob.
1
@garryfrater7536 Then tell me garry, how do you explain that the Victorian government in 1860 initiated the Lands Act that granted land on excellent terms to poor settlers. The legislation was not perfect, but by 1869 the matter was well and truly settled in favour of the settlers. Some 80% of those settlers succeeded.
1
@garryfrater7536 You haven't got a clue, have you? Almost all the squatters were gone by the time of the Kelly outbreak. He was mainly stealing from poor settlers, effectively sending several bankrupt. Get your facts straight before you shoot off at the mouth with your fiction.
1
dzanfox Yes, by stealing all the horses he could in the dead of night from poor settlers.
1
@asalways1504 A victory for what?
1
@hi5dude2 Ned Kelly stole mainly from the poor.
1
@leomackie17 WRONG. Only 3 police were sacked. If you claim otherwise, let's see some facts.
1
@arrgghh1555 NOT TRUE. No officers were charged. Two superintendents were recommended for retirement, but the government rejected that finding, and re-instated them and a few weeks later promoted them to police magistrates. Only 3 were dismissed and they were junior officers. No one was fired as you claim. Training and procedures were improved, that is correct, but almost all you have said is complete ROT.
1
@edwinflores1697 There were no rich squatters left in the Greta area at the time Kelly was operating. The suggestion that he stole only from squatters is made up nonsense. He mostly stole from poor settlers.
1
@asalways1504 A victory for what? Ned Kelly got his just deserts.
1
@hi5dude2 Not a true story at all
1
@trishahughes7321 RUBBISH. There was no petition to let Kelly go free. There was a petition to convert the death penalty to life in prison. You are making up fiction Trisha
1
@leomackie17 NO they weren't. Nothing like that happened at all.
1
FNJ Except she talks a load of rubbish.
1
1987MartinT Well you have no idea of the true story. Kelly was a stand over thug and a very serious criminal.
1
Karoake Koala No research was done to present this fictitious nonsense. Its all made up rubbish.
1
Vanatos The story related here is fictitious nonsense.
1
@mariustan9275 The Ned Kelly story was written by fiction and myth writers. Kelly was a very serious criminal as the facts show.
1
@joinmarch76 What, by murdering police, robbing banks where poor settlers kept their small savings. Stealing poor settlers only horse sending them bankrupt and the standing over them threatening them with more harm if they have the audacity to report the theft to the police. Taking hostages and threatening them with death if they disobeyed him. Yeah, they are all good deeds aren't they?
1
Lord Luna What is presented oin this video is a load of fiction. Nothing is true.
1
theviewerofart You have no idea what you are saying, do you? There were no squatters left in the Greta, Moyhu, Benalla area when Kelly was at the peak of his thieving, and stand-over career.
1
Kyle Hart There are several, and they are all fictitious rubbish.
1
@thetrashmaster1352 What a stupid statement.
1
@thatguydownthestreat Ned Kelly stole more than a watch. He stole from ALL his hostages taking their cash and jewellery. He was a thug through and through.
1
@Beremor You haven't got a clue, have you? Ned Kelly took those hostages at gunpoint and threatened them with death if they disobeyed. They were petrified and scarred for life after Kelly's barberous actions.
1
@joshuaturner4602 You have no idea. Ned Kelly and his gang robbed from ALL the hostages. Money and jewellery. Get your facts straight Joshua
1
@Colddirector There were no squatters left in that area, so Kelly stole from poor settlers. He aided no one, not even his own mother. The public were NOT on his side. They were glad to see the end of his criminal reign.
1
@Colddirector Lets put you right. The banks he robbed had mostly poor settlers small savings held in those banks. There were NO squatters left in the Greta region at the time of the Kelly outbreak. Kelly robbed from poor settlers and took their only work horse effectively sending them bankrupt. The suggestion that Ned Kelly only stole from the rich is simply ridiculous. He stole from anyone he could, and he then stood over his victims and threatened them with more hurt if they reported the theft to the police.
1
@Colddirector There were no squatters left in the Greta region where Ned Kelly was robbing poor settlers of their only horse. The public were NOT onside. Kelly supporters amounted to about 250 people, mostly criminal relatives or criminal types. That was about 2% of the people in NE Victoria. Get the facts straight sport.
1
@joshuaturner4602 Ned Kelly stole from ALL his hostages.
1
@cwp2175 There was NO corruption in the police force at that time regarding the Kelly's.
1
ewok king Right thing? Murdering police. Holding up banks. Taking hostages, thieving horses from poor Irish Settlers. Being a stand over thug, or just being a liar. So which of those is the RIGHT thing ewok?
1
@Jaboris Except the evidence was there that the system was not corrupt. Where are you getting this nonsense from?
1
@mtf_nine_tailed_fox385 WHAT? Robbing from poor settlers then standing over them and threatening them with more harm if they reported the theft to the police. Threatening hostages with death if they disobeyed him. He admitted to stealing at least 280 horses. Yeah, he loved hurting poor people. Real hero wasn't he?
1
@cammarc This video is fiction from top to bottom and does not represent the true Ned Kelly at all. He was just a serious criminal through and through.
1
@indiekiddrugpatrol3117 GARBAGE. If you claim that, let's see some evidence. The facts are that Ned Kelly stole from poor settlers.
1
@YuriSakazaki Legends do not murder, take hostages and threaten them with death at the point of a gun. Legends do not steal from poor settlers then stand over them if they dared to report the theft to police. Your understanding of this criminal is woeful.
1
ewok king Ned Kelly NEVER did the right thing. He was just a serious criminal through and through
1
ewok king You are so far from the truth as to be laughable. I suggest you go back to school and learn English. because what you have written here is not English.
