I’ve heard laptops heating really badly because Firefox was using too much memory.

Millennials and Gen Z. While I’ve argued with Boomers and Gen X, they are generally more resilient and can take a good joke. Feelings over facts describes the younger generations perfectly.
2
That was back when he was much smaller.
2
I used no Adblockers until 2013 - 2014. Back then in the 2000s you could tolerate the ads.
2
Louis has a private life. You don’t get to dictate what he tries to do off camera.
2
@AgentSmith911 I’m sorry but no. Louis holds a ‘no bars’ outlook, and while I don’t agree with everything this guy does, he can freely express his viewpoints as long as he does not put other people in danger. Nothing is new here.
2
@AgentSmith911 The first guy that pops up in my mind when it comes to constant drama is ReviewTechUSA. And he deleted his channel.
2
When you control a good chunk of the drive market, you are bound to get greedy, sooner or later.
2
Since when did the FTC actually do their job? Our country is run by complete clowns today. Especially when Sleepy Joe at the helm for another month.
2
I remember in 2010 when every other person shouted they cut the cable. Now these same people are reeling in, looking for yet another alternative. It’s not cable and it sure ain’t streaming. It’s pirating, accessible offline and available once you get what you’re looking for.
2
@mikeg3439 Crime was awful in LA during that time.
2
If I had a dollar every time Pepperridge gets mentioned.
2
I watch a lot of 80’s movies.
2
At this point it would be better to pirate and then try to convert digital to physical, in case your computer hiccups and all your data is lost.
2
I miss the old YouTube (2005 - 2010). Just groups of teenage kids, adults and others recording home videos, doing stupid stuff, talking about life, and having a life. This current era of 4K resolution, tyrannical influencers, an ethically corrupt administration, and this cancel culture dilemma has me going back to the old stuff.

Sometimes I wake up thinking we're still in 1990's NYC, when Rudy was Mayor and the city was much cleaner. Then I realize we're in the post modern era, and NYC is now a haven for degenerates, insane cost of living, and businesses packing up to move elsewhere. Sorry, but seeing the Brooklyn Bridge in your avatar I just couldn't resist.
2
Our modern dystopia.
2
Mozilla sold out.
2
Because cars and houses just weren’t enough. They’re making everything harder.
2
Tech influencers are just a watered down version of the tech guys from the 90's and the 2000's who were actually working on tech and keeping us amazed.
2
@TheGuyWhoIsSitting That’s blaming young people for everything. The old people sitting on hoards of money who run these corporations devised these plans.
2
There's a bunch of AI comments on this video to prove your point.

@J.B.1982 There’s very little worth buying that’s AAA anymore. 2024 was an absolute disaster and to start off 2025, we get Avowed. The days of the original Dead Space, Killzone 2, Uncharted 2, Halo 3, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare? Long gone.
2
@J.B.1982 I was an advocator for certain Nintendo games until the company decided to go hard on emulation. So in short, I’m told to pay a hefty subscription price tag just to play old Nintendo and Sega games from 30 years ago, when I can easily play these games on PC via emulation. In return, I am boycotting them.
2
@markomus1 Any luck?
2
That’s an anti right to repair tactic if I ever saw one.
2
@Adam-rz4wr I know the one you’re talking about. Amazing that so many people fell for it.
2
@ Most of the new stuff is garbage anyway.
2
Amazon Prime shows are pure propaganda.
2
@forestpagan4813 The farmers are no better off than we are.
2
Which means history is being erased.
2
@Tenajeh This is fine. The problem is the wrong people are running things right now.
2
I work with people who had a previous job at Amazon. Said the entire warehouse/center was toxic. Glorified slave labor. Only one week of vacation.
2
27:17 Yep. People commonly call this projection. All this to say, Apple is making apparent double standards here.
2
@Zizoor That’s typical. Companies like Safeway and Dollar Tree have high turnover because of poor management and poor hours.
2
Make your own home gym. Problem solved.
2
@ Yep. There is now confusion if one moves to another country, or returns to their home country. It's all a mess.
2
The Linux kernel has them too.
2
Whole house is in shambles. I would be utterly embarrassed if I was that real estate agent trying to sell that place.
2
@ CA also defunded their fire department. It was entirely the city council's fault.
2
Sounds like a Karen interviewed you.
2
Billy Mays. 😅
2
It also cuts out a lot of the problems I have with Walmart.
2
@ Why do you think I'm still using Windows 7? Windows 10 should of been a wake up call.
2
As a former Californian do not open a business in California either. Both states are corrupt to the core.
2
You also can’t comment on reviews anymore, which includes comments by the real seller saying “we are sorry for the inconvenience, and so forth”.
2
I don’t really care. Life is too short for this garbage. When you reach a certain point in your life, you stop caring about certain things and focus on things that impact your own life and your community.
2
I normally say "those who don't learn from history are doomed to repeat it", but in this case, the power players actually do know their history and are repeating it anyway. They are pure evil.
2
By old cars we mean 1990’s - 2000’s era cars. Anything before that is vintage and is generally too expensive for the average person to afford. Pre smart digital equipment. I think earlier GPS devices from the 2000’s are this way. You’re essentially doing what we all did during the era of the Wild West Internet. Sadly this means using older technology because the new stuff is anti consumer.

@autoimmunedefficiencysyndrome Virtually anything to do with handymen and repair people is going away. My 75 year old Boomer dad went to a TV repair shop to get his TVs fixed. Back then, people were expected to know when to repair their own equipment, or call a repair man if the cost and time was too much on their own. Nowadays we not only throw away modern appliances like used electronics, corporations make it difficult to do any kind of repair work on your own. Apple removed their headphone jack because they learned they would make more money if people bought their crummy ear buds. They make iPhones difficult because honest tech repair people would likely charge less than if the customer were to buy a new phone from Apple instead.
