@ScumfuckMcDoucheface if you whack the body and not the impact fuze (ie a swipe and not a butt) then I mean…maybe? It’s not gonna go very far though
8
The question isn’t “were they useful” because of course they were the question was were they necessary? The Soviet Union was fighting for its very existence when the Nazis came knocking, so the debate goes “was lend lease something that wasn’t fully necessary to win or was it something needed to win?”
8
@bastiaan7777777 less bad than you think, they don’t exactly put 1 foreign tank in each company, it’s just one maintenance crew that has to bang their head against the computer screen reading all the manuals Besides most tough maintenance is sent out of country (by both sides) for safety (and the fact that nowhere in country can one have facilities for Leopards, T90s, or Challengers)
7
The Russian military doctrine, though they’ll never admit it out of pride and arrogance, literally copy pasted the German military in every sense, as said by a German officer during Kursk “They (the Soviets) try to emulate us but they do not know how”
7
Call it the Leopard 1UA5 when it’s ready for delivery to the Ukrainians Thank you for coming to my Ted talk
7
I think the brow armor was a reference to Brezhnev but the Russian tankers were too scared to say that aloud because they’d get shot*
7
@matthiuskoenig3378 panzer 3 is probably the second lightest medium designated tank in weight armor and armament, maybe second to a Japanese or British design, but it was still treated as a medium tank
7
Jeez guess we found one of the guys conscripted into Russian army
7
@marcusott2973 no, because it’s not about resources
7
@joshb7300 you stupid fuck, read a history book or look at modern day, how many Russian bases are in Germany? None
7
Russia attempted to start a SVO in Austria
7
@pyotrbagration2438 “Soviets are as much guilty” He didn’t say they’re the only guilty ones

9:50 The best way to entice the enlisted man to work, alcoholic payment
7
@ yes I’ve watched it and I saw that asinine line ‘the Soviets would’ve procured replacements’ Where? Where do they get the aviation fuel? Nowhere, where do they get the aluminum? Nowhere, where do they get the food? nowhere
7
‘Battle of Budapest: German experience’ ‘Fortress orders are not fun’
7
He’s done lots of tactics videos throughout the years
7
Cool, this video isn’t about honorable soldiers, this is about criminal soldiers
6
@brettdubuque1231 because their nation had no resources vs the enemies which had lots of resources America was 70% the worlds oil supply in 1940, and which side was america on? The German automobile industry was very weak, the Americans was the strongest in the world
6
Rian Johnson Definitely subverted everyone’s expectations, it just cost the franchise
6
Oh boy I can’t wait to watch this old video and see all the hindsight warriors who say this assessment was just a bunch of bollocks!
6
Not in the East, the MT-12 still exists, emplaced guns have still been in service
6
Austrian Law is not something with logic or reason
6
@Noodle5593 I’m not sure, who was the one providing all the escort carriers and selling all the boats to Britain? It may have a Union Jack and credit to their tea addicted crews but the fact remains many boats were born in the western Atlantic Not to mention A Britain wasn’t outnumbered in the Med, it’s much easier to fight in the Med for aircraft than in the pacific and oh yeah that part where the IJN had aircraft carriers we had to fight Besides the Americans (or more accurately Roosevelt, illegally) supplemented the Atlantic trade route defenses, that and the whole boat selling and later provision is what kept Britain from being economically collapsed by Das booties Still, the IJN was much spookier than the other two axis navies combined, and the USN was the one who annihilated that, not the RN
6
Ferdinand: when Porsche gets over confident (well he’s always overconfident for no reason, should’ve just made him Henschels puppet)
6
Is the doomguy the icon because he’s accurate or because he’s as powerful as tank cannons?

6
Operational theatre for Ukrainian tanks is the east, lots of flat open space
6
@VarenvelDarakus this isn’t true at all Napoleon took a single straight line to Moscow, the Germans took an entire frontline from the Arctic with the Finns to the black sea

The winter war was a serious victory for the Soviets, considering everything they gained, even if they were forced to pay for it
5
‘Puny’ hahahahahahahha any side flank shot (you know, expected on defense) would be pretty painful
5

I can just imagine a enlistedman going to his NCO with a Canadian para prisoner who was wearing a badge for the 1st CAD, the 3rd BAB, and the 6th BAD because he was with all three simultaneously I don’t know if they wore one two or three badges i just think it’s funny
5
Something I’ve realized from this war as one of the largest takeaways for everyone who isn’t america, and even america, is that the often decried ‘muh military industrial complex!’ Which everyone complains owns the world, somehow, is actually proven to be too small, most European militaries have less than a week’s worth of ammunition to fight with, and the Americans don’t have the ammo supplies to indirectly support for long duration while having stocks left for themselves, and not just artillery ammo, but the consumption rate of cruise missiles is astounding
5
That depends on what you define as victory I suppose
5
They reverse engineered it from the 150 version
5
@dmitrizorkin3851 ...they didn’t know about the winter offensive in the south so it was a surprise This is how the word surprise works, if something happens that you didn’t know or expect, it surprises you
5
“Stereotypical views of the USA” AR15 Icon
