  6. I'm sorry bro I'm going through the same thing as you. I tried to make my model traditional and my teacher wanted me to change it or else will fail. Don't give up and when you finish getting your degree go join a traditional architecture firm. there are some that still exist. I will as well but yeah everyone in my class is forced to create modern style becuase for them it's beautiful.

All houses are different you just have to look at the details and motifs. Im a architecture student who is just disgusted by todays architecture and believe it could be better.

  29.  @TeknoSquirrel  I disagree if you remove the labels of classical architecture as being conservative and read books and know the truth of how the modern movement really started then you will say that it was made by rebellious revolutionists who wanted a new style architecture. And that's why we have the modern architecture style now becuase of revolutionists such as adolf loos with his book ornament and crime and his idea that we don't need ornamentation and other luxurious pieces of material becuase it's useless and this led to other people that Basically hated proportions in a facade and ornamentation of a building to implement this idea of architecture. It is unfair that traditional architecture is seen as old when it still proves that it can still work. It's just for humans to be more open minded and see why traditional architecture is more beautiful. People by nature will passionately build something that is beautiful where nowadays they just build fast for money and demand and the architecture is proving itself that it is not great. And me as a person who really loves architecture can see the damage that is being done and it's being repeated.

You can support this Instagram page called architecture revival or look at classical architecture firms like quinlan terry, adam architecture, and Ramsa architects. They are architects that are building traditional architecture. If you really love classical architecture become a classical architect and join their firm because there is hope for classical architecture.

The modern movement destroyed traditionalism and also becuase technology has advanced but just becuase tech has advanced doesn't mean that traditional style building can't be made. It's just the mentality of how architecture schools teach students that continue to produce these monstrosities.
