  18. The V shaped hull gives the people in the vehicle a good chance of survival it's shown good protection against mines and IED so as a troop transport it's doing it's job

  20.  @tonyp2865  No they're not they have a V shaped hull for mine IED protection and they offer protection from small arms fire, shrapnel and are mobile. Like any vehicle they will need some kind of drone defense once they have that they will be fine.

  23.  @regizeelement8511  LOL the US had hypersonic missiles long before that a hypersonic missile is a missile that goes over Mach 5. As for hypersonic glide vehicles the Chinese one isn't even operational yet the last test missed the target by about 25 km

  24. The bushmaster offers a good level of protection and mobility when transporting infantry. It offers protection against IED, mines,small arms fire and shrapnel and is much better than a standard truck with the infantry exposed in the back. No vehicle is impervious to enemy fire it's war..

  27. @AlexLaw-y9j  No the bombs in Afghanistan were far bigger than that they had IED that were sending Humvees flying into the air. The bushmasters were hit with IED with 23Kg of explosives and the soldiers in the vehicles survived

  28. The Abrams, Bradley and Stryker had been knocked out in conflicts before the Ukraine war and so had the leopard so it was already obvious they weren't invincible. There has never been an armoured vehicle in the history of warfare that couldn't be knocked out.

  30. No the US is buying the NSM to be used by aircraft and on their smaller literall combat ships. The US Marines are also going to be using it if they are based on island anywhere in the Pacific to give some protection against enemy shipping. There are also longer range missiles like precision strike missile which will be fired from the HIMARS it's going to be faster than the ATACM missile which flies at over MACH 3 and they are looking at getting the range of the missile anywhere from 1000-1600km with a seeker on it so it can engage moving targets at sea.

  42. The Chinese will be engaged on their own shoreline any amphibious landing will have to mass on Chinese side and will be seen well in advance of any attack. Small boats will only be able to carry men with small arms they won't have any heavy weapons. As for the airborne forces they will show up on radar long before they get to Taiwan and the majority of the transports will be shot down.

  48.  @easonhuang7117  Taiwan has known for decades they will face a huge bombardment before any seaborne landing they have plenty of bunkers built to hide vital equipment and they will have other equipment well camouflaged. The Taiwanese air force won't play any major role most of them won't get off the ground but the Taiwanese anti ship missiles arn't air launched. Go back through history it's littered with examples of huge bombardments not destroying the defences. The bombardment doesn't' work and China tries to cross the Taiwan strait they're going to be in a world of hurt they certainly won't be laughing.

  49.  @easonhuang7117  you're a dreamer any airborne forces will be detected a long way away and most of the transport planes won't even get over taiwan they will be shot down and any who parachute over taiwan will be shot to pieces in the air and immediately on landing. Taiwan has over 2000 manpads which can't be detected by radar they will decimate any helicopters who try to land. Your transports ships won't be able to stay out of range of the anti ship missiles they need to get close to the Taiwan coastline to launch amphibious vehicles and will have to land on the beaches to offload tanks and heavy artillery ammunition supplies. If you think it's going to be easy you're living in a dream world you better prey their anti ship missiles are destroyed or you won't be laughing at the out come. If the invasion of Taiwan was easy it would already have happened

  50.  @easonhuang7117  China gets ashore and can establish a beach head then start bringing in men and supplies turning it into a battle of attrition Taiwan will be defeated. China's vulnerability is having to cross the ocean and no invasion of Taiwan will be carried out with suprise it's a huge operation with a large amount of seaborne assets,land based equipment and supplies having to be formed up for the invasion which will be seen weeks if not months before it happens. The only forces that can actually capture Taiwan is the seaborne transport carrying men across the Taiwan strait if they get stopped in the water the invasion will fail.
