The Ukrainian are fighting a static fight from trenches against an enemy who has good observation and artillery superiority plus air dominance and the results are predictable. The last thing the Ukrainian want to do is fight from trenches in a static fight they're handing themselves to the Russian artillery. They had success earlier in the war because they were fighting a mobile stealthy fight and unfortunately they have let their egos get the better of them and have lost so many of their most experienced soldiers.

The NATO trainers are trained in conventional warfare as well as fighting against insurgencies. The Ukrainian soldiers they are training are showing up as raw civilian recruits the NATO trainers are giving them basic soldiering skills
17
It's another example that you can give an army weapons but if they dont have morale and a will to fight it will just collapse when put under pressure.
17
The greatest lesson of the Ukraine war is you can't enslave people who don't want to submit to your rule.
17
@virgil1981 what garbage the Iraqi were a professional army they weren't farmers. The Russians aren't better than western military the Ukrainian are fighting with a lot of limitations and have given the Russians hell. The US military with it's far greater firepower than the Ukrainian have would have devasted the Russians even worse. The Russians couldn't even defeat an air force they out numbered 10-1. The US has a far bigger more effective airforce far greater supplies of presision artillery and MLRS and far superior deep strike capability than the Ukrainian military and they would be combining it all when they conducted operations.

@moratheexplorer5791 There is still a lot of experience of warfare in NATO lessons learned over decades of wars especially through the 20th century. Technology advances over the years but war doesn't actually change that much you take away the drones and this war in Ukraine is like a throw back to world war two
13
@Mortablunt there is nothing sophisticated about multiple lines of defense and minefields
13
Don't you mean the Russian offensive against Avdiivka🤦🤣🤣
11
She said 100K officers the Ukrainian wouldn't have that many in their army. On top of that Ukraine isn't giving out casualty numbers to anyone not even the Americans so what would she know
9
They got attacked and had 1300 people murdered they have the right to counter attack in Gaza
8
@gracejones8387 no cold hard reality the US military has firepower and capability the Ukrainian military could only dream of having. If Ukraine had the same firepower the war would already be over
8
@Deus-Gratia storm z units were slaughtered
8
@Benjamin-tg79 he couldn't even get a snipers rifle the whole time he was there and he was with some Ukrainian he told them not to light up a cigarette and they did a tank spotted them and opened fire killing the Ukrainians. He said to hell with it and left.
7
Wagner is there to make money no other reason
7
@tat3179 nothing is stopping them they clearly don't see the need to ramp up the industrial base at this time. They didn't do so before world war 2 but increased it when they needed too
7
@dick_richards Western forces didn't do mass wave attacks in world war two. They did in world war one and no one wanted to repeat it
6
@Evergreen1400 all the US needs to do is complete the wall and militarize the border. Have a division worth of men 17,000 to patrol the border for 6 months at a time then rotate them out and bring another 17,000 in. It's beats being stuck on base all year and it's truly defending the nation
6
You're a traitor wow that's something to be proud of.
6
@Marine0317 wow you must be really proud of yourself
6
@Rspsand07 bullshit in 1991 the Iraqi army was still one of the biggest in the world and had plenty of modern Russian equipment from that day and they got wiped out. Yes the Iraqi army in 2003 wasn't in the same shape as in 1991 but they still had hundreds of thousands of men and still had all their conventional equipment. They weren't farmers
5
@TrusePkay totally different war the bulk of the civilian population weren't lining up to the fight the Americans and the Americans weren't bombarding major civilian centres. The US was fighting a religious movement based in Afghanistan and Pakistan that for the most part hid in the civilian population and used time as a weapon waiting the US out and they did the same with the Russians in Afghanistan.
5
@hydrohasspoken6227 Russia faces unreal casualties whenever they fight
5
@Xyrozen yes they have more but what counts is how many rounds land on target. Russians have been complaining that their counter battery fire isn't effective against the Ukranian
5
The challenger run over a mine and the rear fuel tanks caught fire the crew evacuated from the tank. Later on it was hit and finished off with a Lancet
4
@hkfoo3333 Bullshit the ground forces fought hard in Korea and saved South Korea. Afghanistan was never a winnable war no one wins there including Russia. Vietnam the US ground forces fought hard with or without airpower but once again it was never a winnable war because no US forces were allowed to enter North Vietnam. The only way to win the war was to go to Hanoi and take out the regime
4
@lonniesides9302 south Vietnamese army collapsed two years after the US left and when they collapsed they had severe ammunition shortages
4
@thomaslacornette1282 what's concerning is the Ukrainian leadership attacking in the south where the enemy knew they would attack. The Ukrainian leadership knew the Russians had built up multiple lines of defense
4
@Funtarez kind of like the Russians did with the T90 and the hypersonic missile that couldn't be shot down but ended up getting shot down
4
@fegelfly7877 Russia isn't showing extreme restraint they have even resorted to passing a law so that men over 40 can join the military. Russia has been embarrassed in this war
4
@e_x_c_u_b_i_t_o_r_ejiysb7169 kyiv wasn't a feint that's just a cope to explain the failure
4
@digitalronin7787 The people of Donbass have no right to claim any part of Ukraine as their own. If they don't want to be part of Ukraine move to Russia
4
@dick_richards NATO has never used mass wave attacks
4
You could say the same thing about Russia
4
@TK-ev you don't know what the casualty ratio is
4
You mobilize multiple times to build a large army so you can stay ahead of current casualties and future casualties. 650000 killed and wounded is an average of 2166 a day I don't believe those numbers if the Ukrainian had taken that much loss their force would have broken down
4
The problems for the Russians is the Ukrainian always have the option of transitioning to an insurgency and they have showed themselves to be tough skilled fighters. They could very easily kill the Russians by a thousand cuts and the reality is if the Russians can't break the will of the Ukrainian people to resist they're going to lose this war
3
@hkfoo3333 US forces in Fallujah didn't rely on airpower they fought house go house room to room
3
@ozwiz935 no one ever claimed the tanks are invincible there has never been a armoured vehicle in history that couldn't be knocked out
3
@JORMUNREKKR history legends likes to make videos about the "failed" Ukranian offensive and videos about Israel but doesnt want to do the same for the Russians because he's full of shit. Their attack at Avdiivka was a debacle
3
@conorrigoli7578 Yes but he's not talking about the debacle at Avdiivka
3
What you Russian fanboys dont seem to understand is that the Ukrainian have the option of transitioning to an insurgency any time they want. They have the ability to continue targetting and destroying the best Russian armoured vehicles with drones that cost a few hundred dollars. They have longer range drones that can target russian airfields they also have the ability to shoot down Russian helicopter gunships. The Ukrainian are constantly developing their maritime drones which are going to get increasingly dangerous for the russian navy. Then you have the Ukrainian snipers that are excellent. Unless the Russians can break the will of the Ukrainian people to resist the war is going to drag on for years and russians are going to continue dying and getting maimed and equipment will continue to be destroyed with the cost of the war going into the trillions. Ukraine will become a burial ground for the Russian military.
3
@hectorzero8545 the Russian MOD lie about their losses
3
@WJACOTT stop coping 🤡 Russia is certainly trying
3
@noticing33 Israel aren't invaders they're lived in those lands for thousands of years they have a right to be there
3
@literallynapoleonhimself5417 it took 2 years after the US left Vietnam but yes in Afghanistan it was a few weeks
3
@r200ti the Taliban weren't farmers
3
@jeffhicks8428 yes they have faced Russia stop the 🧢
3
@digitalronin7787 the Russians haven't captured 20% of the Ukraine in this 4 month war probably 10% of it was already captured. The Russian military has been embarrassed in this war they should count themselves lucky the Ukrainian don't have the ability to target their artillery.
3
@digitalronin7787 yes they have captured about 20% in total but in this 4 month war they have captured about 10%. A large part of the Donbas and the whole of the Crimea was already in Russian hands before this campaign started
3
How did Bakmut turn out for Wagner it destroyed them
