  31.  @kitschchauvinismus_9394  China has never officially announced whether that line is meant only for those islands or the whole SCS but Chinese officials have implied or asserted that it's meant for the WHOLE SCS. China has been teaching school children to believe it's Chinese property, so apparently China is using 'salami tactics' here. Even China knows that if it goes all out at once, it would be totally illegal and undo-able so it's trying to eat it bit by bit. But it can't never fool the world! No, the line in the SCS was first drawn in 1935 when China was much weaker than Japan, so drawing a similar line in the East China Sea would mean China asking for a smackdown from Japan. That's why it didn't do that. China always think it can pick on its southern neighbors that's why it drew that line. If Japan and Russia is situated at Vietnam and the Philippines' locations, China would never dare to draw it! LOL! Throughout history, China has a reputation of cowering against stronger countries but loving to pick on weaker ones while thinking it's the center of the universe! LOL! That's the despicable nature of China. Instead of fighting the northern countries when attacked, China chose to build long and big walls to hide. At the exact same time, it turned around and picked on weaker kingdoms south of the Yangtze, expanding west and south. It would never dare to pick on Japan even when being attacked by Japan! Russia took a big chunk of China, stopped China from eating Mongolia, but China only knew to cower and gave it all up, and turned around trying to act tough in front of its southern and western neighbors! In recent history and up until now, it has been continuing on that same path, trying to bully even more countries in the south by claiming the whole SCS. Those islands may have unclear owners but they certainly don't belong to China because they have never appeared on official Chinese map until 1947! You just can't argue about this because China is clearly in the wrong and the source of problems in East Asia right now!
