  10. Hope not! I assume that all prisoners in the UK have been vaccinated. Which despite the anti-vaxxers' arguments, does provide one with the best level of protection you're going to get. Other than completely staying away from everyone, which is of course not possible within the cramped confines of a prison.

  21. Er - sirs!! Thank you very much for your information on the terrible news and troll farms!! But I am a Brit: and I don't think you know exactly how the BBC is funded!! It is through the TV License Fee: which is basically a levy levied on every household with a TV, even seniors. It is about £160 a year now. I haven't had a TV for some years. The pensioners (seniors) used to (during the New Labour era) get a free TV License once they reached the age of 75: but the Tories snatched that off them once they won the last election.n😏👎 Anyway. You can actually be thrown in jail for watching BBC TV, and BBC iplayer, without a license. Quite a few working class people have been, over the years, in the UK! Bet nothing quite like that ever happens in America! 😏

Actually though, as a side topic, I rather like "celebrity articles" constituted from "random tweets from nobodies"! 🙂 I find that - especially when those tweets are responding to some of the celebrity's own silly tweets - one finds out quite a lot about that celebrity! 😏 A well-curated tweet article can be a beauty. But I do think the Dems are being very unfair to Russell.

  34. I think that you are thinking of the space issue as too much of an "either/or" juxtaposition - with other pressing issues such as homelessness, Jimmy and friends... The fact is, that a rich, modern capitalist society could pay for BOTH, and a lot of other things besides, IF they taxed people like Bezos and Musk enough. It's not a case of: "We can only afford one item!" (I used to hate it, when my mother said that at the toy store, when I was little. I knew it wasn't true, even then! 😏) And seeing as ex-president Obama and the Pentagon have recently admitted that UFOs are real... Maybe we should just be putting a bit of money in that sort of area.... 🙂
