That is why, I, as a Briton, do not give money to Keir Starmer: or to his version of the Labour party. 😏 👎 I advise also a US boycott of the Democrats, if they cannot even protect abortion rights. 😡 They should indeed have written Roe Vs Wade into law, & not left women's reproductive rights to the tender mercies of the US Supreme Court, now dominated by right-wing Christian Dominionists. 👎

I'm glad that such a warmonger is dead. 👍 However, when you, Jim, started bringing out the quote about the "known and unknown unknowns" I remembered that I was pretty impressed with that line at the time... I have no idea if Rummy thought it up himself. You see, there Are varieties of (lack) of knowledge in all those categories. That is a logical truth. Especially the "umknown unknowns". That is very true, and so many people forget about those!! Like, for example, prominent atheist comedian Ricky Gervais. He is on record as saying about science. "It is humble. (!) It knows what it knows and knows what it doesn't know." Ah but my dear Ricky - I thought when I read that quote - WHAT about the unknown unknowns?? See?? People DON:T know what they don't know, most of the time. Totallly true.
