  1. Correct -- but it takes tremendous discipline to do it. Well said. Now keep up the good work explaining economic reality to all of our fellow citizens. There are some frills to it, beyond just avoiding the stupidity of tit for tat revenge. The affected industries are entitled to some insurance at all of our, the public's, expense to ease the jolt, both coming into and eventually getting out of the insanity, and politicians on all sides have an obligation to educates us all, rather than taking advantage of the time of upheaval to distort things for partisan advantage.

The United States would probably be even richer if it allowed separate currencies, perhaps by state or by Fed district (although Missouri would look funny having two different currencies in a single state).
