@daisyjune5135 Daisy, There are more white people than there are black in America. Do you think this might be connected to your idea that there are more poor white people? Just a thought. Tell us all what you think.

It's very sad. He doesn't need to be impeached. He needs to be hospitalized.
3
I dunno about peak irony. Would you go for Karma in progress maybe?
3
@bubbles3161 "wives," half-wit. Apologies to the good and useful number 0.5. Evidence for any proud boy having a wife? Nil.
3
One Big Easy liar! But shouldn't a CNN shop steward be asking Mike Johnson to show his AFTRA card?
3
@Mulinaster Naw, more like ignorant, self-indulgent child would be my observation.
3
@KevinWendigo63 Difficult call. Russia won a very few square miles along the Finnish border at the cost of a solidly bloodied nose.
3
@Ntw24 The more ignorant and backward of enlisted guys may still be pro-Trump. Nobody serious in the military supports him.
3
@yourfriendlyneighborhoodla2091 I don't think you understand the meaning of the phrase "race-baiter." That one doesn't qualify. It's the simple assertion that a black person would be voting against their own interests to support the racist Trump. a pretty obvious truth, don't you think?
3
@yourfriendlyneighborhoodla2091 No kryptonite there, despite your fervent hopes. Half my family are African (South Sudanese) and a high percentage of them conservatives.
3
@joramirez9534 She discredits herself.

Dee, Hillary beat him by three million votes. He got in the same way Shrub got in, on the back of a Constitution written to keep slave-holders happy. In a democracy neither Trump nor Little Bush would have been anywhere near President. On his donation, given late, after the first lied and then evaded for weeks, do some research, OK? https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/post-politics/wp/2016/05/30/tomorrow-trump-will-give-more-details-about-his-donations-to-vets-heres-what-we-still-dont-know/
2
M'Lord, Trump won the Electoral College. Bush won the Supreme Court. Neither one of them won "the election." Both of them lost the election, and both of them were disasters for both America and the world.
2
Try to control your diet and Trump will repeal the Pure Food Laws passed by Teddy Roosevelt, Mister Republican, in 1908. Good luck, ThirdEye, Good luck.
2
Tug, It is not a "witch hunt" to say that Bannon "trafficked in Muslim hatred" at Breitbart. And if "some may," as you concede, then your "Not true" is, uh, not true.
2
But there is no evidence for your "pathological liar" claim. That is pure Trump bullshit.
2
Adam, Is "pansy" the word you're looking for? Or are you calling him a member of your own beloved tank corps?
2
Tractor, The Trump routine is gay through and through.
2
🤣😂😅
2
Pretty clear that one of Trump's studied skills is intimidation: he wasn't hanging out at all those Vince McMahon shows just for entertainment. Nasty little man to have as US President.
2
@denisemartel3352 Cynicism is the wisdom of the dolt, Denise -- and it always and everywhere assists political reaction and criminality because it encourages the rationalizations "Everybody does it," "Nothing can be done," and so on and so forth. The Republicans are not perfect politicians. They are anti-politicians. They subvert the polis. They undermine political service and decent governance. They are destroyers, not practitioners, of politics.
2
Soylent Green is People The people being denied entry by Trump are in many cases fleeing murderous governments in all respects as dangerous to them as the Nazis were to their various groups of victims.
2
Censorship: full bore anti-Americanism.
2
In all this talk about testing, what I want to know is, What do I do if I get it? I sure as hell don't want to go to a hospital: what, line up with a lot of even sicker people to get in a bed where a bunch of harried nurses run around watching people die? Di I stock up on XYZ-tussin? What does treatment look like, folks? How 'bout a little more help, a little less self-congratulation on your goodness and energy.
2
@captureitlive Our enemies is where Donnie Fats got the information in the first place, fool.
2
@captureitlive You don't serve anybody. You're just a silly loud mouth enjoying the sound of your own voice. If you're in any service it's because there's nobody else will promise you three square meals and a pension.
2
@FallenJustice The rescuers were the trained guards of the church's own security patrol. This is why those militias need to be well-regulated: there are too many stoo-pid people out there carrying guns around on their own.
2
@choicegospelnetwork You ask: WHAT DOES THIS STATEMENT MEAN ? It means that either your keyboard or your mind is out of order. It could be both but the statement doesn't give us that much information.
2
@SWSimpson Maybe they should. I just point out that it is supreme illogical to say that religions should be taxed for being political when being political is not taxed. The good news is, people making that argument are living proof that Trump has lost his grip on the half-wit vote. Without them, he doesn't stand a chance.
2
@scottclarke2417 Good post, modulo the truly flaky misuse of capital letters all through it. When Christianity died, or when it came into existence, is a difficult question, and depends pretty much on your definitions, surely? I would have thought the third or fourth centuries, somewhere around Nicea, would have been plausible for its start, but I don't feel strongly about it -- and don't know enough about the movement of that time -- to be married to the idea. More details, anybody?
2
@scottclarke2417 You seem to have missed that I was congratulating you on good points. Your use of capitals is improving somewhat. Still, if you're going to capitalize "New," why not your "testament"? What is that capital T on "Theological" doing in the middle os your sentence? There are generally thought to have been a group of founders, too. Hence "Church Fathers'." S-apostrophe. Keep working on it. Good luck.
2
Poor Kari's "War room"? Uh, whine-a-thon more like...
2
@TheBadGab Shoes? Left and right. Golf shirts?? Um Fat or twenty years old, maybe? Sheesh, this classification thing gets complicated.
2
King is utterly wrong to say that Barbara Bush and Colin Powell had such different upbringings. Powell is from a black elite which is almost a carbon copy of the East Coast preppies Bush married into -- with the added British frisson of being from a Jamaican lineage.
2
@christopherlitzner8445 But of course that's a lie: Obama started the process. Thank you, however, for contradicting the republican lie that it's Biden's doing.
2
The radical claim is, he can tell the difference between a hippopotamus and a camel. ...and 29 roughly similar questions. Success demonstrates that he does not have a bullet through the head nor a half-ounce of anything weird coursing through his veins. https://www.verywell.com/alzheimers-and-montreal-cognitive-assessment-moca-98617#:~:text=The%20Montreal%20Cognitive%20Assessment%20%28MoCA%29%20is%20a%20brief,for%20several%20years%20at%20memory%20clinics%20in%20Montreal. It says nothing about his room-temperature IQ. The jury is still out: Fahrenheit or Celsius?
2
Don't hate him. He's a child, fer cryin' out loud. Now Mitch McConnell, an intelligent and capable man? That's a person worthy of some hatred and contempt. And judiciously directed enmity, because he is a wily and effective enemy of us all.
2
People standing in line to vote early at fired up. Decent Republicans will be sleeping in on Tuesday. If Georgia is in good shape, the vote count will be over by five minutes after the polls close and the win will be Warnock 62--38, like the nation's vote against Goldwater.
2
@Jerrol Hale Sorry, Jerrol, it's rare. Even the rightwing press can't come up with more than a dozen cases over a total of several recent years -- against thousands of shooting tragedies every year in America. https://abcnews.go.com/US/breaking-nra-backed-theory-good-guy-gun-stops/story?id=53360480 https://time.com/5644578/good-guys-with-guns-el-paso-dayton/ https://www.pbs.org/newshour/nation/how-the-good-guy-with-a-gun-became-a-deadly-american-fantasy It would be nice if it were true, but it isn't.
2
@tmseh Thanks NRA staff. The NRA used to be a sensible citizens' group concerned with gun safety and well-run target practice. Then it was taken over and milked by a succession of shirts who milked the membership and the advertisers for all they could get. Now, at last, they're into crisis territory on a number of fronts. Looks to me like Lapierre got too greedy for even some of his buddies, and they turned on one another. Karma.
2
Axelrod's mention of the dollars is apropos: the Republicans as spending election campaign money like water -- but on the impeachment, not the election -- and they're only holding Trump at his normal 38~42%.
2
It is not true that Grover Cleveland was "the only President to serve two non-consecutive terms." FDR did it three times: in 1932 and 1940; in 1932 and 1944; and in 1936 and 1944. Cleveland was, however, the only President to be elected to the Presidency for a second term after having been defeated. This is no doubt what the CNN commentator would have said if he had spoken English, known his American history, and been a bit better with numbers.
2
Vikash, Yes. Once. I dunno, I really wish there were a God and we could see a hole open up under the guy as he got flushed away to Hell. Voosh! Damn shame... He's probably off looking after some other Universe, letting us stew here awhile in our own stupidity.
2
"The Uberto Eco checklist..."! Now there's a side of The Mooch that surprises me a little bit! Well done, Anthony S!
2
What's going on now is not "an era." It is one specific political cult, Donald Trump and his enablers. This will pass. Many of them will go to jail. Their amusing Hair Furor will spend the rest of his life in civil courts, perhaps in a criminal court or two and quite possibly in another few rounds of bankruptcies. So? As the excellent Colin Powell quotes the late President Bush, "OK. Let's get the job done."
2
Chip, He's carrying on the Republican tradition of always making the previous Republican look good. A stunning success.
2
@freddieware7418 Nancy Pelosi is rational, tough, smart, and decent. Also not a model crawling around on a rug.
2
Sorry, Rashaun and your several friends below, that's his claim -- and it's delusional. Beck is trying to make the horrible claim "You are almost as bad as I used to be" and the claim is false. On top of that, Beck is vacillating between two positions, A.) he used to be the evil CNN is now becoming, and B.) Any good thing CNN is doing now he used to do but nobody gave him credit. Beck is in several very strange head-spaces, one of which is retreating from his Alex Jonesey act. (My feeling is that he's retreating from it because Jones took all thei air in that space, and Beck couldn't make it -- but it's possible, just possible, that he saw the lunacy of what he was doing.)
2
@eloise22422 Whitey Bulger was on the FBI's payroll, remember?
2
Only half a stable genius. North end of a south-bound horse. Totally stable.
