The short clip here of the “debate”, reminds me of the first 5 minutes of the “debate” last night, with Sunak out of control shouting incessantly, like a prep school bully , not a Prime Minister. After 14 years of Tory fiscal incompetence, I just have to log into my pension pots to see how a lifetimes hard work and thrift have gone down the drain. That’s before we look at the Tory record of thousands upon thousands of unnecessary deaths before their time. The list is endless. Before that we had Sunak hedging against this country triggering the banking crisis of 2008, which is how he made his millions. Bring on July 4th before we have a civil war.

  4. The virus didn't fly into the care homes through the windows. It was taken in by infected staff or visitors. The testing level is still well below the 25,000 level set by the government, by "mid April". The National Bio testing Centre in Milton Keys might be capable (soon) of analysing swabs for covid 19, but if those swabs originate on Cornwall or the Scottish Borders , it will simply take too long to get them and all the other swabs to Milton Keynes. Swab analysis needs to be done all over the country , in order to minimise time, because that is where the patients and staff are located. Time wasted is costing lives. The Samba 11 test machine gives a result in 90 minutes. The government need to have these machines mass produced NOW , not while Boris snoozes his way to full recovery in Chequers. The 25,000 testing target will not do. The target needs to be 100,000 anti gen tests.

  45. What goes around, comes around. My daughter is still poorly yet has not been tested. This has the potential to affect all my family, and everyone at the surgery where she works. How Boris thinks he can lead this fight is absurd, particularly when at virtually every step since this began in China, he and his government have failed to anticipate and protect the public, their prime responsibility.   49. What proportion of British Jewry does the Chief Rabbi speak for ? The closest I can find after repeated searches, is that he is an Orthodox Jew , and that suggests 53% of British Jews. What I have established is that Antisemitism in the Labour Party is insignificant compared to the wider UK population, and that studies have shown that Antisemitism on social media , largely comes from white males under 40 who hold hard right political views. I conclude that while all racist issues cannot be ignored, this is deliberate DISTRACTION by the right wing press/media, when the UK faces major problems , such as the dissolution of the Union as a consequence of the reckless policies of the Tory party.
