I like most things about Jimmy Carr except the laugh.

@AgentZF And the whole "entering the stone age" thing is a bit overblown as many of the animals they point to use sticks and stones in unmodified ways for simple tasks like breaking something open to get at the food. Although the Capuchin monkeys in Brazil's Serra da Capivara National Park are an interesting case study, they are still using the stones as found and not shaping them at all. When an animal in the wild starts flint napping let me know.

There are lots of native people who do sound like her, but lots of others who don't. It's the same with any group. All communities have variation of how they feel about themselves and the way they re looked at from outside their community. Same with Black people, Hispanic or Latino communities, different Asian nationalities, Hawaiian people, and even amomg genders and in the different LGBTQ communities. Some people get super offended by every perceived slight and others DGAF.

Yeah - Papa! Always enjoy a Tom Papa episode.

@Orbitalbomb Lighten up, Francis.

Now I know WW3 is coming. Mike Baker is the kind of spook who has been saying for the past 18 years that victory in Afghanistan is just around the corner. Establishment mouthpiece.

Young "Columbus is a lot of things" Jamie

"Selfless and brave - buy my book" that's amazing! (edit) and I'd totally watch a full lesbian Star Wars film whereas I haven't seen one of the new lame as-fuuuuuck ones.

It's not the story, it's the interpretation. And more importantly, the person interpreting.

9:26 - Mason Jars are what moonshine came in (the real stuff probably still does), and at one time the majority of people canned their own produce using mason jars so you would always have one of those around to drink out of. No need to buy fancy glasses just for drinking water or lemonade.

"...but he sucked as Batman".

@taylorlibby7642 I'm often surprised there isn't more retaliation against scumbags like that when they get out. And especially if they get out early for some stupid reason and have only become an even more dangerous animal during their time warehoused with other scumbags.

The few times I was with someone when they got to use their tag there was never any celebrating - we knew that the fun part was over and now the real work was about to start.
3
And the hell was he talking about with them not having phones - the communicator was the original flip-phone FFS!
3
They'll just take over other businesses, especially agricultural, like they've done with avocados.
3
You should start by questioning his morals and policies and then decide if you respect what he's done - might be he did those things for less than respectable reasons.

@oscarlohens8586 But then we will know that we are one such being being made of all that ever has been and all that ever will be. Loneliness, like all things we experience in this life, is only something we know while we are in this life. Moreover we might be even be one such being in an infinite number of such beings. Or maybe it's all just BS and when we're done we're done. Either way, enjoy the ride while it lasts bro! It'll be over in a blink.

This is more along the lines of being able to build a time machine or an engine that will break the FTL barrier. Some things might always remain in the realm of science fiction.
3
Just thinking last night how we need another Hancock/Carlson episode. (Get Duncan on there too)
3
@chazlon5061 heck yeah!!
3
@tylerao no one - they're just being rotated.
3
@Moneyman-33 My gaydar is for shit, but that bit from his one special where he was talking about some guy smearing butter all over himself seemed like it was pretty gay.

Hey Joe Rogan, it's the Internet. It would be a kick-ass podcast! Do this! It should be suggested to Beau too. Killer idea!
3
Always appreciate a good Soylent Green reference.
3
Even worse - a human doing the whole clown shtick. Clowns freak me out.
3
Depends on how all drugs are legalized and what support services are available for abusers and addicts.
3
Joe Rogan - making the world a better place one guest at a time.

@badraa7838 5 hours later and it's still the one right above this comment.

What is, things we hear people say when they're tripping? still - respiration really is a pretty strange physical constraint made even stranger in that it's a constraint found in nearly every form of life.
2
That's some fucked up shit on many levels. You should be angry about it. Just please don't act on the rage and do something that'll get you in trouble. Your family needs you to be with them. Stay strong.

This is how empires end.

They used the spot for a lot of television and film scenes.

Damn, son! Talk about taking the words out of my mouth - or whatever the equivalent is in our electronic age. I'll add global treasure.
2
People who double-down on a bad idea are special kind of stupid. He may be very smart about other things, but on this - not so much.
2
That's why Joe makes the big bucks.
2
@eighteenfiftynine Which kingdom do you SCA in, m'lord?
2
@davidpaul4716 "Top Secret was funny too..."
2
And I don't see no horns on Tony.
2
@paulies5407 close but no cigar.
2
@26michaeluk Absolutely correct - to both your points.
2
Joe should have Mr Clinton on. He always makes incisive points on any subject Louis asks him about.
2
Even worse - near beer.
2
I'm totally a dickhead who just gets lucky. And goddamned I loved this episode!
2
You all rock!

Not just the UK - that part at 1:00:23 about the FAMA company doing the social media scrubbing of that job applicant. Went to their website and it looks like we can "Call [them] anytime at (877) 550-0629". Funniest thing I saw was there at the bottom of the page "News & Updates:We respect your privacy." BULLSHIT!
2
@wagrram "It's the Rebels, Sir. They're here." "Well, what do they want?" "I'm not sure, Sir. But they've brought a flag with them." "Damn, that's dash cunning of them!"
2
"My mom's listening"

It is one of the best episodes from the TNG franchise but nothing beats the opening from the season 5 premier where the Klingon civil war is happening and Worf's brother flies the ship right up against a star to trigger a mass ejection and destroy the other ships - Tony Todd was awesome in that role. Klingons fighting, Romulan intrigue and the return of Denise Crosby, Data being a crafty bad ass captain, that episode had it all!
